I loved the simple mechanics, perfect example of risk and reward!

I think the shuffle could have some kind of cost, maybe losing a turn, in some challenges I kept re-shuffling to reduce my chances of healing an enemy by mistake so it ended up a bit too easy.

The art style and animation were decent, although I'd love to have clearer feedback from which enemy each attack came.

Overall, great entry! Has a lot of potential for becoming a great strategic game!

The art style is so cute! The animation and smooth movement were impressive, and the soundtrack was decent. I had some trouble memorizing where each ingredient was located though so it got too hard too fast.

I didn't need to do much myself, the cats moved by themselves to the goal xD

To be perfectly honest, I didn't really enjoy the gameplay, I guess mostly because I'm not very patient and got frustrated with waiting too long

That said, I just couldn't stop laughing from beginning to end, the humor in this game is fantastic! The art style combined with the music and the incredible "voice acting" made the whole thing a unique experience!

With some tweaking I really believe this could turn out a great game!

I'm not sure if it's my machine but I'm having a lot of trouble controlling the cat (although the theme was "out of control", so... a_a)

That said, the art work is so cute, would love to see more!

Don't wanna shoot puppies though :(

Not sure if it was intentional but I've found the on-the-face instructions so funny!

The music was kinda repetitive but nicely done. In the end I didn't use the white clouds at all, I just kept flying and accelerating until dead, hahaha!

Nice art work!

I kept forgetting to deploy my units, it would be nice to have some kind of reminder when the timer is approaching zero!

Hahaha, fell too fast from a platform and got stuck!

The main character was very cute, is it a Regular Show reference?

I definitely relate to the need for coffee, I'm having a hard time since my doctor told me to avoid it! :(

It took me a while to get the pun of "out of control", nicely done hahaha!

The art and music were very charming! Too bad it was too short, it would be interesting to see some different situations!

Also it would be nice to make it faster to recover from a failed attempt, it seems the kind of game that I'd like to intentionally fail just to see what would happen! A shorter cycle would encourage that kind of gameplay!

Was loving the visuals, but when the game started it was very hard for me to control the character, not sure if my machine is too slow :(

The music was really intense, seems like it can be quite a frantic gameplay!

Thank you so much! (o^▽^o)

I actually chose the BW color scheme to save some time when making the assets, hahaha!

I had some trouble with the Windows build, so most people unfortunately couldn't play at the beginning!

Thank you for the feedback! :D

Will surely check your game as soon as I have time!

tbh I was just looking for the quickest free way of publishing the static files since a lot of people were having trouble with the windows build xD

but also I've been wanting to try netlify for a long time, we were considering using it for deploying the static files at my team, it was a win-win!

Thank you so much!

I'm not an artist at all, so I'm extremely happy that my intent was recognizable!  (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, in case you're still interested in trying I uploaded an alternative web version here!  https://the-orb.netlify.app

Thank you very much! :D

Thank you so much, Michael! (‐^▽^‐)

I added the how-to-play in the description of the game but since this was my first jam using itch.io so I was not aware that it would not show up here! It's great to hear that it was intuitive enough!

Hey Damián, thank you for the suggestion! Since I don't have a Windows machine available to test I uploaded a web version:  https://the-orb.netlify.ap

Thank you so much! (^▽^)

tl;dr - for Windows users: https://the-orb.netlify.app

Hey everyone, thanks so much for trying my game! Thanks for letting me know about the broken Windows build! ☆(・ω・*)ゞ

This weekend was kinda a last-minute decision and I didn't have a Windows machine available to test it (not that that's an excuse to upload without testing)... ( ̄ω ̄;)

As a workaround, I uploaded a web version here: https://the-orb.netlify.app

It's the same code without modifications, though a slightly worse experience (a bit slower and the viewport size is weird)!

I'll try to get a working build for Windows and upload it somewhere, in the meanwhile please try the web version!

I apologize to everyone for the inconvenience! (。╯︵╰。)
