Wow, thank you so much! Very cool to see a completed grimoire, and we really enjoyed reading through the process on your website. Hope you enjoyed the game, and thanks again for sharing :)

Hi Troffle, hope things are back on the straight and narrow for you! No rush at all, if you manage to come back to this, we would love to see.

There's now a Glyph - Single Pages file for download! Have fun printing :)

Hey, we’re glad you enjoyed it :)

We’ll upload a single page version of this for you, and others who might want to print it, asap!

Absolutely love your lines being further narrowed down into extra categories! That's something we discussed but never put into practice. Would you mind showing a completed glyph with one to see how it turned out?

Always read the arcane terms and conditions! The glyph must be incredibly detailed and deeply obtuse to represent classic T&Cs, I reckon.

Would love to see an arcane cookbook with recipes represented in Glyph form!

Hi, thanks so much for your feedback! We’re always really glad to hear when people like Glyph, and we love that you’re planning to integrate your grimoire with other solo games!

You can view some of our example glyphs (some better explained than others) here. These were all made as part of the production process (and are just snaps from notebooks) so they may be a little rough, but we found it fun trying to decipher the intent behind them so hopefully you will too!

You’re definitely along the right track with your investiture, anything which helps you to draw down the intent of your Glyph to as narrow a point as possible is the aim of the game — so “nose” and “gentle” would be a great place to start from, or maybe something like… “cleansing” or even “exfoliating” if you wanted to give the requester a little extra in the skincare department. There’s no wrong answers: however you want to pour your will into the Glyph is the right way to do it.

Hope that helps!

Hi there,

We've gone ahead and removed the flashing background. We absolutely see your point there, and thanks so much for bringing it up. It's been replaced with a repeating pattern, which will hopefully be a bit more acceptable for folx with sensory difficulties.

If it's still too challenging, let us know and we're happy to look into further changes. Alternatively, you can find Glyph on DriveThruRPG here if that proves easier.

We appreciate your interest, and hope you enjoy the game! :)

Thanks for letting us know -- I've dropped in and fixed that in the PDF, and thankfully you caught it before it went to the printers!

Hey, yes you are correct. This was something we had originally planned to include at the end but with deadlines and just the scope of what we would need to write, it would have been its own rule book. This is something we have in works as a future addition to GLYPH.

Apologies for the confusion caused, we will update the description so that this will not happen to anyone else.

Thanks,

Oddments
