A perfect little late-night eerie experience. Knowing that this game was partly based on dreams makes perfect sense--I think it really captured the feeling you can have when lucid dreaming, where your brain will string together scenes and experiences that feel somehow connected, and you keep pulling at that thread to try and figure out what they mean before waking up. The kind of dream where it all feels a little too real, and it's hard to distinguish between memory and symbolism as you dream it.

I adored the stylings and character design; I think it captures the essence of the era very well. Great job!

Really impressed with how meaty this was for a jam game! I was a big fan of the styling, from the character design to the super slick UI (especially the pause screen! so cool). Also was super impressed with the amount of voice work! Everyone was fantastic, but I wanted to give extra kudos to Horse, Monkey, and Rat who I think really nailed their character voices :)

I was a little confused at the end of the first case, and then once the realization hit me things clicked into place in a very satisfying way. Very clever little twist!

My one piece of feedback is that I had a tough time finding some of the pieces of evidence in a few cases bc they were so close to items I had already investigated that I didn't register there were separate objects! Having an item outline in addition to the question mark pop up might be helpful for poor idiots like me.

Overall, I had a lot of fun with this and I think the whole team deserves a round of applause! Congrats on a fantastic jam entry!

The style for the walkaround segments is so delightful. Loved the vibes of this lil game! <3

I saw this game while scrolling the Spooktober tag on Twitter, and the soft-but-graphic style left such a strong impression on me that I had to play :) I love how distinctive the characters are--Grace and Nerd Girl are especially cute!

I'm not sure which ending I got out of the four, but it ended on a bittersweet (and satisfying) note that did feel very reminiscent of watching a horror movie. I will definitely revisit to see if I can get some of the other endings.

There were a few points where I struggled to interact with objects even when I thought I was standing close enough to them, so if possible, I might suggest expanding the "range" a bit (unsure if this is the right term--I'm an artist, not a programmer lol). I also think it could be fun if more descriptions were available for items in the environment to add some more immersion--things like the postcard racks in the lobby, the cars in the parking lot, etc.

My only other note was that there were some inconsistencies with the English translation; the one that stood out to me most was that one character name was sometimes spelled two different ways (Roxanne/Roxann). That all said, I think this was a fantastic jam game, and I'm so glad I played it! Excellent work!

This game was so, so good; I wish I was a little more eloquent so I could better sing its praises! I loved the creativity in the UI--the computer/diary setup felt very clever and impressive! The setting was portrayed in such a deliciously ominous way throughout the game, with the looming black structure that takes up most of the screen in parts really adding to the sense of dread. The character design was sweet and charming, and everyone felt very fleshed out for something that is (relatively) pretty short! Pavel really is a cutie pie, and watching the events unfold definitely pulled at my heartstrings...  he deserved so much better ;-;

One thing stood out to me above all, and that was the color design. The artists did an excellent job with the palette. For the most part, the colors present as bright, clean, cool tones that really enhance the coldness and sterility of the setting. And then, the warm, fiery red and orange tones that color the darker scenes, leading into the climax as Deidre's plan comes to fruition... ugh, so good. Really well done overall, and I'm impressed at the quality for a month of work. Kudos to everyone!
