Cool game. I really enjoyed Ep 0.
However for it to be even better, I'd like to experience less keyboard latency. This just feels a little awkward. Just take your favorite Terminal program and use it.
Also – since I use a lot of Unix command line – I would really like that the command line in code 7 behaves even more like a Unix command line. (i.e. Tab completion does not cycle through all the options, just displays all the ones applicable to the current line...)
Keep up the good work.
Hi, Code 7 is a really cool game, and I am glad I could participate in the Kickstarter.
In playing Ep 0 I noticed however that the "hacking" game – albeit being quite cool – was also quite frustrating. I think this is due to two things: keyboard control is too laggy and did sometimes not register or register too late. Also automatic completion completed things i typed in before the "hacking" game began. This should feel as crisp as when you would work with the Terminal Software your choice. And the other problem was that the movement of the "security" programs was too erratic (in the second Hacking game), so that the game was more a game of chance and not one of skill. (I hope you intended it to be a game of skill).
I am confident that these problems can be solved easily without breaking game immersion.
