fuckin loved it

This was a real treat, truly an achievement 

I second what Mcwaffle mentioned, it's quite intrusive and makes me feel like I'm playing a freemium game

We'll always have the itch version so I suppose its not the end of the world

Each run is 4 stages with 4 bosses

You got shops that sell different main and sub weapons as well as supplies and passive upgrades. There's 2 factions that you can choose to ally with for passive upgrades and better prices at their stores however shops of the opposing faction will sell at higher prices or outright not deal with you anymore

Controls are identical to an nes game for better or worse, occasionally you'll get annoyed at wanting to crouch slash while you're on a ladder and instead climb down but other than that it's very tight and any hits taken are on you

All the extra CRT filters you can use had me insanely nostalgic, it's my first time seeing that in a game =)

You also have different characters, although I prefer the original 

I think maybe a slightly lower price tag would make this title more accessible

Truly an achievement, excellent job dev!!

Loving the game, you can tell it was a labor of love

Only complaint is that on most starts it can be a real struggle to find neutral mobs that aren't impossible or near impossible, maybe some sort of level scaling based on how close the mobs are to each player's capital
