Not a problem, The game should work fine with a mouse too in this version. (Just remember to click and drag the mouse to scroll left or right).

Hi NottheDan, really appreciate the playtesting! The back button issue is now fixed although we're still working on the inventory drag bug which seems to require a larger scale fix. We've identified & fixed some other errors and added the first version of the hint system and more music 'in game'. Some more fine tuning and I'll upload another updated version.

Hi NottheDan, Glad you managed to have a proper play but a shame because that issue you've mentioned definitely sounds like an oversight when we were changing over to touch controls. Basically by default a 'touch' is recognized as 2 clicks of a mouse, so we then have to edit this to make it only trigger a single click. Whats happening is when you're touching the back button, its clicking twice and essentially taking you back twice, landing you in the same scene you were in. I will get this rectified on Monday and double check similar scenes to make sure the issue isn't present in other areas of the game. Thanks for identifying this! 

May I suggest that for now as a 'work around', you use your mouse to select the back button as this will negate the double click function that you are getting via your touch input.

Hopefully the bug you have highlighted will be fixed Monday and I'll update the project.

Hi NottheDan, Thanks for the feedback. I think the problem is that you are using a mouse for a 'TOUCH' version of this game. Hence why you are unable to play it correctly. This game is being developed for mobile and we are no longer showcasing the 'mouse' version on itch, however I'd be happy to link you to an earlier build. I can assure you that great care has been taken with the layout so that nothing is occluded and again believe this is a result of you not using a touch input.

With the touch version it now uses a touch and drag function.

In the version linked below, you can use your mouse to scroll to one side or another by hovering in either side of the screen.
