Thank you for the feedback. If I keep continue working on the game, I will definitely improve it, adding a main menu etc.

Thank you. I would love to improve the game, add new moves and abilities and make more complex levels. But this was a start. :)

Thank you very much. :)

Exile Squadron

Hello!

I've been collecting my thoughts about my last project for a while, and finally I took the time to put them into words. I don't want to post the whole post-mortem here, but I wrote a pretty lengthy piece on the development of Exile Squadron.

If you are interested, please head right here.

Thanks for the heads up. :)

Hi!

I have a great news for those who are gaming on the operating system of the penguin. The Linux version of my second game, Exile Squadron is finally ready. I was a bit nervous about making this version, because honestly I never used Linux before. But it turns out that my fear was unwarrated, because it is not rocket science, even if setting up a Linux environment was a bit difficult for a total n00b like myself.

Anyway, it is ready, and you can check it out here (the game is also on sale right now):

If you encounter any problems with the game, feel free to report is, so I can fix it as soon as possible.

Hi. I decided to run a small competition for Exile Squadron. The game features an online leaderboard on Steam, where your ingame scores are uploaded. So let's see who is the best in my game!

Winner: The Steam user who will be at the Number 1. position on the Steam Leaderboards at the end time of the Championship.

Competition ends: November 30, 2019, 4PM GMT.

PRIZE: A 25 EURO STEAM GIFT CARD, SENT THROUGH STEAM.

For a lucky gamer I created a Steam Giveaway, which you can check here:
https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/CdyIc/exile-squadron

Obviously anybody can participate, if you bought the game on Itch, you get a Steam key and can play the game there. Good luck!

I'd like to annonce that Exile Squadron, my retro sci-fi shoot 'em up is available for purchase as early access.

If you would like to check out the game and be part of the community, please take a look at my project. As a solo indie devevloper, I'd like to thank everyone who contributes with a comment, sharing on social media or with a purchase.

LINK: Exile Squadron

Exile Squadron is an action-packed, sidescrolling shoot ‘em up, inspired by the classics of the genre. As part of an elite fighter group, you will be granted a huge variety of upgradeable weapons, which you can use to stop the invading Colonial forces. Kill your enemies as fast as possible, collect points, and put your highscore on the online leaderboard.

Sorry, I forgot that you cannot message directly on Itch. :D

Please use this link to get your copy:

If it doesn't work (which means somebody claimed it), would you visit my Discord channel? It will be easier to give out the keys.

Hi. I'm planning to release my second game, a sci-fi shoot 'em up in a few weeks, and I'd like to get the game in the hands of some testers.
If you are interested in playing the game and providing feedback, feel free to apply, and I'll send you a key on itch.

But please, only apply if you really want to provide some feedback. I can't pay, but you can keep the final version of the game after release, and a Steam key as well after the Steam release in November.

APPLY FOR THE BETA ON MY DISCORD CHANNEL: https://discord.gg/TwjKJBs

Here is a trailer to get a quick look at the game.

Hi. Can you submit a game which you were working on for a long time, but you just finished before the start of the jam?
