I think it is a very well written visual novel. Adult visual novels should come in all the major themes. You are touching on one such theme that brings out the truly sad people who cannot go through life without making you realize how wrong you are for choosing such a theme. I am betting you just hate yourself for loving it and want someone else to blame. Absolutely no other reason for you to stay around. When an evenly balanced person sees a piece of art at the gallery that is a style they despise or a car at the dealership that is nothing but gaudy, they don't hang out and berate everyone for liking those things.
