I'll be upfront, I run a decade old mac intel(r) core, with a boot camp partition for windows. It can handle most itch.io games and most things pre-2020 to varying degrees, but my system is pretty much a potato, the easiest fix would be for me to get a new computer.
Basically when I reach the end of the screen, where it should transition to the next area the screen turns blue and gets stuck there, program becomes non-responsive, stuck on that blue screen with just the UI up, and my entire computer slows down. Checking my task manager, as soon as I hit that transition, memory and power usage both start spiking to 100%. I don't necessarily know what the diagnosis is, but that's what's I see from my end.
