I will say, out of the other 2 games, this one seems more refined than the others and I look forward to whatever comes next, just as long as they don't rush it

Yep! Once you go into your game files open up the file names "www" click on saves and copy all your saves. Once done, go into the newly updated game folder and go back into your "www" file and back into the saves file. Paste it and you have successfully moved your old save files.

ps~ if I didn't explain it well then there is also a form on the Town of Passion page. Which should have it explained crystal clear/ there's also a guide in the game files too

Mayhaps, go into your game file and into the www file and into your saves. Copy 'em, and whenever the game decides to yeet your saves out the door just paste them back into the save file. It'll be inconvenient as all hell, but you'd at least have a backup and have a means of progression
