Thank you, it's good to see that people are still coming across this demo from time to time even as im swamped in other work. Regarding the secret boss in the Grove, it's a bit of a silly joke boss. There's a specific skill in a party member's (not Dorothy) skillset that acts upon the Void.

First of all, thank you! Secondly, it's funny you should say that because I intend to release an update soon. It won't be an update that finishes the game but it should make many of the areas playable and advance the demo's story a bit more.

The Unborn Daughter is a fantasy RPG about Dorothy, a green-skinned traveller foreign to the world of the game, and her ability to gather and permanently learn any skill that is used against her. ANY skill. Assemble a party of friends and assemble your skillset in this free demo, whose skill-gathering mechanics and open design allows for multiple different ways to accomplish your goals and to defeat your enemies. 

The battles are designed with your potentially limitless skillset in mind and can be challenging but are not absurdly so. Explore and find hidden optional content! Gather rare and unique skills from the unlikeliest of places! Speak to and befriend your party, none of whom are particularly good people! And all in all, however you do it, guide Dorothy closer to her nebulous goal.
