Pretty sure they're human and supposed to be the player, since Mike just says "you" and we don't get any info on them.

This looks really cool! I like the paper mario 2.5D aesthetic! I really liked how I could keep playing after being transformed. A lot of games just give a GAME OVER. I look forward to seeing how the game progresses!

All the plush TFs were really cute! Ribbon Mike was pretty funny while trying to keep balance, and JulenMarten did great voicing him!

(And don't think that Echo reference escaped notice >:3c)

The cubes stabilize you. When you collect them, they reset your balance meter to the center. (Except that two cubes that give or remove the dog snout)

Very neat! I played through a couple of times and it was really nice.
I would suggest adding a quick restart button to the final screen. Currently it stays on the final screen even after page reload, so I have to manually go back to the start with the back arrow

I looked up changed fangames on itch and randomly found this. Played through all the endings and this is AMAZING! I was not expecting something so well made for a fangame.

I think it runs on Smile Game Builder. The creator's last project was released in the same engine.

Was excited to see this ever since you posted the teasers a while ago. For an experiment, this was really good! The Castle Nox references were a pleasant surprise.
