That's odd! Have you played the game on previous versions? If so, deleting your old save file might fix it (which will also reset your progress unfortunately). You can find the save game file on your computer at the location C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\HousekiUE5\Saved\SaveGames

I believe you run 'HousekiUE5.sh" to open the game, or you might need to do some kind of conversion from .sh to .exe to run it (not too sure b/c I am not a linux user)

Oh it probably goes somewhere else on macbooks... someone online says it goes to "/Users/[username]/Library/Preferences/[game name]/MacNoEditor" if you still want to try

Heyo! Sorry that happened, unfortunately there isn't a way in-game to respawn yourself right now but if you want to keep playing you can reset your progress by going to the following file path on your computer and deleting the 'mySlot.sav' file:

C:\Users\[your local username]\AppData\Local\HousekiUE5\Saved\SaveGames

There's no community discord for it right now, but we might make one after the next update (probably at the end of summer or something like that). I agree that having a discord server is cool but it's also a bit of work to moderate and I'm too busy to work on the game or moderate a discord server until summer

The best way to support it right now is to share it around,  we can't make money off of this game because it uses video clips from the anime but seeing people enjoy the game is very motivating!

If you're talking about what the goal of the game will be after the next stuff is added, I'm not too sure since we're still testing things. The elevator pitch of the game though is 'a peaceful and exploratory game' so it might have something to do with reconstructing gems, exploring and experiencing beauty, etc

It's not a super 'gamey' game with goals based around linear progression, points, etc but I might add some fun systems, we'll see where it goes

Ooh that's a cool idea, that could make a very interesting game. The current thing I'm working on has to do with movement mastery, as a hint

It's basically just exploration/collecting right now, originally I wanted to make it as a tool to help people understand where anime/manga events take place but then I had some other ideas... there is another game system in the works right now which builds on the gems but it might be a little while until the next update

As for the Lunarians, that would be super cool but it's so much work so I don't know if/when 🥲 but maybe if I find an interested character modeler, animator, and combat designer

It's now fixed! The cause was a date-time conversion error caused by 2024 being a leap year... the build has been updated if you want to re-download (you shouldn't lose progress)

I think that's something that happens when running .exe files on windows (which are part of downloaded games), you might be able to avoid it by right clicking on the file and then selecting 'run as administrator'
