so here's how you can play this because i don't know if everyone here knows how to use steamvr.
you're gonna need a vr capable pc, a vr headset that works with steamvr (here's a list of working headsets: https://www.businessinsider.com/guides/tech/which-vr-headsets-work-with-steam ), a cable that can connect to the pc and the headset, the oculus software and steam (the last 2 are on the pc. oculus software can be found here: https://www.oculus.com/download_app/?id=1582076955407037).
this guide will be for the quest 2, because that's what i use. make sure it doesn't enter sleep mode during this whole process.
1. open steam, and install the steamvr software. it may not show up in your games library, but thats because you need to uncheck 'Games' in the drop down menu above the game library side menu, and then it should show up along with a bunch of servers for games.
2. connect your headset using the cable.
3. once you've connected the quest 2, it will ask inside the headset if you would like to enable oculus link or quest link. select 'enable'. it will open a different menu, which is an old oculus menu.
4. open steamvr on the computer. the headset will open the steamvr application. wait for the headset to load the software, and follow the setup instructions inside steamvr on the headset.
5. once steamvr is fully loaded on the quest, download Beat Saber Origins on the pc. make sure to extract the files from the zip file.
IMPORTANT: you need to install Beat Saber Origins on a web browser, otherwise this does not work.
6. open the exe file inside the Beat Saber Origins folder on the computer. it will not actually open any tabs or windows.
7. look in the headset. it should say 'Next Up: Beat Saber Old' or 'Beat Saber Origins'.
8. if everything is correct, it should open!
