I think "Chess but worse" is a bit unfair of a name, I had fun with it and considering the time that was spent making it it's pretty impressive!

Keep it up you're doing great :)

A fun little way to pass the time with adorable graphics and music to boot. I really love that little frog, I can't help but smile every time I look at it :D

I would have liked the game to throw a few new things at me as time progressed (I got to about 2 minutes before I started getting too familiar with the challenge) but overall I really enjoyed this! Great submission!

Great submission! Overall I found this to be a lot of fun; the concept is pretty neat, constantly cycling through new corpses to upgrade the spells and survive turned out to be pretty enjoyable. I love how hectic it eventually gets too :D

It would be cool if in a future version there was some kind of visual indication of which bodies you could still possess - I found myself clicking frantically on piles of bodies in the late-game hoping I could hop into at least one of them

That aside, like I said before I really enjoyed this! Thank you for submitting! :)

Wow, thanks for the feedback!
I definitely need to spend more time on the actual design for any future projects/jams I work on, I'm not happy with the progression in difficulty here myself and I'm glad others are in agreement on that aha

I am glad you had fun though, thanks for checking this out :)

Haha the AI took up about 80% of the time I spent on this project, so I'm glad it impressed you! Thanks so much for checking my game out :)

Glad you had fun, thanks for playing!

Wow, that's really wonderful to hear from you, especially considering how much fun I had playing yours :D Thank you so much!

This is a really professionally presented game, really nice job! From the simple-yet-addicting gameplay, to the cute graphics and sound, the overall experience is tied together incredibly well. It was a real pleasure to play :)

This is a really interesting take on the theme and I really like what you've done here! It got quite hectic trying to protect my trail of bacon and I had some fun with it! The graphics are nice too, the little pigs are really cute :D

Good job

I found this a very fun and unexpectedly emotional game.

The mechanics you have laid out here are concise and well executed which makes the experience a lot of fun to play. The sound and music really compliment the story you're telling here too; I found myself getting weirdly attached to my dead fish which is something I didn't expect to happen going in, but was a really welcome experience!

During that final cutscene I felt a weird mix of happy and sad, so I'm really impressed you managed to capture a feeling like this in such a short amount of time. Really great work!

This is a hilarious concept for a game; one complimented greatly by fun gameplay, vibrant visuals and  good sounds.

It is a shame about the lag, I really would have wanted to play longer! Even still, I think this is a really fun entry and it'll be on I won't soon forget :)

This is such an original and interesting concept for a game, and a very fun one too! It was fun to BECOME FURNITURE, I don't think many other games have allowed me to do that haha.

I hope you develop this further after the Jam, I'd love to see where this idea can go :)

This was a pretty interesting experience, thank you for sharing it with us! The sliding movement was quite an fun thing to get used to, and I liked the graphics (the visual payoff for reaching hell was really worth the challenge it was to get there!)

It would have been good to see some differentiation between the heaven and hell route in terms of gameplay and ending, but that aside I think you did a fantastic job. Nice work!

This is cool! I really like a lot of what this game is offering. I found the gameplay fun, the story is kinda bananas and I love it, the graphics are really nice -I especially like the backgrounds and the design of God at the end.

I found the end screen pretty funny too haha, nice job with this!

Thanks for playing Thimoca! I'm glad you had a good time :D

Great work with this one guys, it was a lot of fun! It was challenging in the best possible way, and simple enough where I could get into it instantly. I love the vibrancy of the graphics and the choice of sound was superb.

(PS I wasn't expecting to see biblically accurate portrayals of angels towards the end, but it was a really good touch haha! :D)
