Blimps is a throwback open-world adventure RPG with 77 fun missions and an original soundtrack. You are the captain of an electric airship armed with water, fire, and ice cannons. Can you learn to survive in this world of Blimps only to escape it?

With a bit of perseverance, you might be the one to survive and escape this world of multiplying Blimps! So take to the skies and safely deliver cargo, or try to pirate cargo from another blimp if you dare.

This rogue-lite casual game involves flying around, battling, collecting, delivering, exploring, sieging, smuggling, surviving, harvesting, crafting, hacking, and racing to be the first to find the Moon Crystal and the elusive Mars rock. Complete 77 primary and 12 side missions to earn 11 passport stamps and eight pilot wings.

Hello Neill, sorry for the delayed response! Please visit https://blimpsgame.com/compare to help you decide which platform version of Blimps to consider. The game can be controlled in a variety of ways: keyboard/mouse/gamepad/touchscreen/pencil. So it comes down to which device you want to play it on. Desktop or Mobile, if you choose Google Play Store (Mobile), we recommend using a Tablet to play it on. It's been play-tested on Samsung Galaxy Tablets and runs excellently; I connect my Bluetooth Xbox gamepad controller to the tablet and use that to play through the entire game. Hey Everyone,

We uploaded the free 13-minute time-bomb PC demo version of Blimps here on itch.io. Nobody really knows about this game, because we've been more obsessed with trying to improve the game's features and pixel art! Blimps is an old-school type of computer game. There are no ads and no in-app purchases. You do not need a network connection to play, and we collect no information from you at all. So it's a pretty basic indie game by modern standards. Our only hope is that you enjoy playing it!

The official, "no time bomb limit" paid game is finished and released in the leading app stores (Apple, Google, Amazon, and Steam). And these days, it's super cool that one can continue adding things and updating the game. So we will continue to embellish the artwork and keep adding stuff to the game in future updates. We still have lots of ideas and are working on features we'd like to add, and we'd love to hear any and all feedback from you!

PS.  We're still trying to figure out how to get the demo MAC version compiled correctly and signed in Xcode. (So you don't get that annoying, "you don't have permission to run this app" error when trying to play it on your MAC.) We will add the demo MAC version to the above link/page here on itch.io once we figure out how to compile it correctly for everyone on a MAC to play...
