Is it just pure RNG or is there a correct way to play it?

Where would that be saved at? Because it was just a straight CTD as if I ALT-F4'ed.
Edit: I couldn't get the crash to repeat but did manage to the the load save to repeat, it took a ton more clicking than it did before re-install. Here is a picture of what it looks like.
Edit 2: I am starting to think that it didn't crash. Instead that when I Load a game then go to Travel I have some access to the Main Menu and clicked the close option that time.
No, it is a new save. Though there are some old saves. I did just think of something to try and it is to delete and redownload to see if something happened when itch updated it.
Edit: Well re-installing it made it where it doesn't try and load a save when clicking on the map but now it just crashes if I click on the map to much. Even created some new saves to test. Also the map only seems to break if I load a save from the main menu. But if I start a new save then load my save from within the new save the map will work.
So travel time between places that isnt main city seems to be calculated as if you returned there and then went to the other place. For example if you want to go from the Elf City to the Beast Tribe it takes 3 turns, Elf City is 1 turn from Aliron and the Beast Tribe is 2 turns from Aliron.
Am I missing something or is it planned to be fixed in a later update?

With 18 total princesses it would, in theory, be 18*17*16 for a total of 4896. And I think that applies if order of princesses doesnt matter, ie if Oni, Ghost, Bird gives 1 code and Bird, Oni, Ghost gives a different one.
If that isnt the case and either order doesn't give different codes or order is set then I think it brings it down to a potential of about 1632.
Well since I just had a dupe group in my attempt to get as many codes as possible. I now believe the groups to be set unless I just hit the, at best, .03-ish% chance of getting dupe groups.
