Thanks for the feedback! These are very cool ideas that I will definitely try to implement.

Hi! I've been working on an 80's style arcade game and have gotten barely any feedback on it. The game is similar to Pac-Man but adds the extra element of light into the game. Please be sure to leave a comment about what you think of the early demo. Don't be afraid to say anything negative about the demo. If there is anything you would like to see added later on, let me know!

Since I have somewhat of a good base of the game, I want to start looking into new enemies and different challenges for the player to come across. I'm thinking of making an enemy type that can only be viewed in the light and adding a boss level every five levels. Obviously, I am going to make new levels too, but I want to have more variety in enemies and challenges before getting to that point. Let me know if y'all have any ideas for new enemies and or challenges.
As far as the current prototype goes, I made the walls visible in all levels. Let me know if you liked it the way it was before.
If you haven't already, check out the Lights Out game page.
Stay tuned for more!
Lights Out Devlog #5: New UI and Tutorial

I've been able to somewhat get a lives and score counter to work. I have set the lives to 100 because I don't have a way to reset the game yet. As far as the score goes, you get 200 points for each torch found, and get 1000 points for escaping through the door. I plan on adding way more UI elements down the road.
I also added a little tutorial to the beginning of the game so that people don't just get thrown into a level upon starting the prototype. Stay tuned for more!
Still in prototyping phase!
An arcade game similar to Pac-Man, but with a twist! Traversing through a maze as a fireball, your goal is to light all three torches and get to the escape door to advance. However, you will have enemy water droplets that will try to put out those torches and kill you. Feel free to comment suggestions for the game, or just let me know about your experience with the demo.
