it's so hard that it made me suffer The Good Parts: Especially for a first game, it's really fun and hard! The particles look good. The sprites don't look too bad for a test game.
The Bad Parts: You could try a better font and color for text. The hitboxes feel kinda off. I think the score text should always be on screen.
Remember that I'm not an experienced game developer at all, I can even say that your game is better than my project's current state.
