Thanks! Same for me, I may have created this version of the game, but I am not very good at playing it!

(1 edit)

I created Fennel Bird for the Fennel Game Jam #1. This is my second game jam entry and my first game coded in the language Fennel

The game is a clone for Flappybird and my first attempt at clone of this game. I am happy with the outcome despite a few bugs, which I might get around to fixing up later on.

You can also find the game on the Tic80.com site, hope you enjoy the game!

This is my first game written in Fennel. The difficulties i had in writing this came mainly down to conversion between Lua and Fennel. There are still a few bugs and a few other things i would like to get done with it.

Even though i made the game, i learnt that i suck at playing it, haha.

I am using tic-80 only with aseprite for graphics.

TIC-80 community · Created a new topic Tic80 Build Template

I have just uploaded my build-template for tic80 using fennel. It can be modified for the other languages, and its free to re-use. Check it out here https://gitlab.com/tic_80/build-template

A build template using make to compile a tic80 project ready for use. allows for testing, cleaning, exporting etc. developed for fennel but could be changed for others. Based off several makefiles i have seen out in the wild.

Nothing advanced but gets the job done!

love the look of the game, and the use of fennel. FYI you have left the cheats enabled.

This is my first project I can say is a completed game, hope you enjoy my labour of love to my daughter.
