If you own it on Steam you can use Proton to play it on Linux.
You extract the .zip and click the .exe file.
but OP said he BOUGHT it which most likely means OP paid for it on Itch because the Play Store version is free and you don't have to buy it. Just a thought.
If you buy it from Itch I think they send you a steam key
DRM is a game store like Steam, Origin and UPLAY. DRM free is just a launcher or straight up executable for the game.

If you got it from Itch.io then redownload the newest version of the game
ummm Chromebooks can't run Windows executables which is what among us is for so you can't play it sorry
