Completely agree, this was pointed out in playtesting in the final half hour, and I decided not to try to fix it for the sake of time. In hindsight, I think it is quite a big deal and would have been worth changing and it wouldn't have even taken very long to address.

Definitely agree about the waiting part, I think the level design is the culprit. Admittedly I was quite short on time and should have put a bit more work on these to prevent situations like that. I had planned to have collectables  (eg a pickup that gives a second jump) that you might accidentally destroy which would have made for much better game play.

Ah, I don't own an android device to check and GameMaker has variables such as 'os_android' so I'd assumed it would work. Apparently not, my mistake. Thanks for pointing this out!
