I felt like an absolute psycho taking photos of my arm swing a knife,  but knowing this... it was all worth it.

I was really excited to check this out! You did great! I still have to sit down and work my way through but the art looks awesome and the panic to find your first weapon is intense. 10/10.

Great job! - Pep

This is amazing! Knowing full well the limitations of RGM you have done some awesome work here! Cheers! - Pep

Very cool. Excellent work my friend!

Thanks for letting me know! I just set that up and will upload the new version of Blood Phantom later today. HAVE A RAD DAY!

Playing this felt like listening to "Blackacidevil" for the first time, that is a complement! Great job.

I really like your creative twist on the jam, you made something really unique. You rock!

Thanks for taking the time to make a YouTube play through! You rock.

Thanks for taking the time to play it! Yeah I wanted it to be completable in a single session but maybe its a lil too easy! You can cheese the final boss if you just open the door and spam knives at him which is not what I intended. THANKS AGAIN! HAVE A RAD DAY!

I always knew I was a "Master Exploder" lol.

Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to make a YouTube video of it! Have a rad day!

If you kite him around the arena room you will get him! or if you save a bunch of throwing knives you can spam him from the door, lol. THANKS FOR PLAYING! I'll check your game out soon!

Thanks for making a video on Blood Phantom! Appreciate it!

WOAH! Thanks for taking the time to make a YouTube video! Looks like the final boss is too easy! HAVE A GREAT DAY!

It might be? RGM (the engine) is a bit janky.

Thanks for taking the time to play it! The throwing knife issue is an engine issue in that RGM only allows for 1 "ammo" type so it is applied to whichever weapon is equipped which is unfortunate. I would love to do more with Blood Phantom of there is interest, who knows what the future holds! Thanks for the high praise of the sound design, I tried to give a lot of ambiance in the backing tracks as well as capture some 90s nostalgia with my "voice acting" Thanks again! Appreciate ya.

THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO PLAY BLOOD PHANTOM! I really appreciate you making a video as well, very cool. Keep up the good work and good luck over on youtube!

Great game with great aesthetics! This game gets the most out of its limited engine! 5 Stars!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge CBG! Definitely going to implement this. Cheers!
PS loved your submission, I'll be sure to leave a comment on it.

SOLVED!

Turns out I was using an older version of raycast game maker. So user beware you are in for a scare! If you make your game with a version below V5 of RGM the cutscene maker will not work properly! GL to everyone in the jam! Time for me to remake this nearly completed game in RGM V5!

Howdy!
I was wondering if anyone has experience with the cutscene maker for raycast game maker.

My dimensions are correct. (640X400)
My naming conventions are correct. (Chap_1_1.bmp, Chap_1_2.bmp, ect)

But after assembling the cs.pak and dropping that into my games folder It shows the image but its garbled?
Is there some nuance I am missing?

Thanks in advance if you have any insight into my issue.

At this point I just make games so you can play them! Thanks for checkin' it out NECO!

Thank you for taking the time to play it. Glad you liked it.

Thanks again for playing. I dropped you a comment on the old YouTube and harassed you on twitter. Have a rad day dude!

Glad you enjoyed the game. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it, I really appreciate you taking the time to give me some feedback. Keep it spooky! Cheers!

Goatboy can suck it for sure. He is the worst. Thanks for playing!

I appreciate you taking the time to play it. I had a lot of fun making it.

I think that's what I was going for.

Enjoyed this, nice work dude!
