2020 Thinkpad X390. Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8365U CPU @ 1.60GHz. Framerate drop, I don't think I experience any. 

It runs kinda hot on my old laptop. But probably it's just gamemaker thing. Interesting game though. I don't really get it but that's probably because I haven't played Balatro.  

The videos from pre-GDC 2009 on their website seem to be mostly (all?) flash-based. They say "Get the Flash Player to view this session.". As flash is discontinued, I tried a flash emulator browser extension, called ruffle. It opens the video player, but the video doesn't play.  

The videos are not archived somewhere on youtube, other video streaming website, archive.org, or torrent. I'll be happy to be proven wrong though.

Anyone knows a solution?

Worth finishing imo. It looks great.  

I'm running it on linux. The game looks amazing honestly.  

At first I got the permission denied issue. But I just used `chmod u+x` the files and that solved it.  

The game started, but it has no sound for some reason. I run it from the terminal as in typing `./ShardsofGod`. Nothing peculiar about the output. Perhaps these 2 lines?

    > Unable to init voice pack 'speech.vox', file not found or of unknown format.

    > audio.vox found and initialized.

Turns out at least for the copy I downloaded from itch, "Shards_of_God_Linux_v1.2.zip", I needed to unmute the sound on the main menu.

I use Arch btw.

Anyone managed to run this on linux through wine? I got a bunch of black boxes. I haven't used wine for a long time, and tried my usual winetricks and prefixes but didn't work.
