Fixed!

Got to wave 50 before stopping. I liked being able to control the enemy paths but it sometimes felt like I couldn't get exactly the path I wanted. Needed bit of a balance pass too, after about the first 10 waves you have enough gold coming in where you cannot lose.

Good stuff otherwise!

Cute game, felt like the tiles could be a little clearer for their roles

Could go for a little longer I think! Good atmosphere though!

Game crashes on my machine :(

Very slick and professional feeling!

Chill game, raft was annoying to use though

Same here

Found the combat a bit slow but I enjoyed the sound and visuals!

Short but clever

It was the first thing I tried, still all black

Clouds and trails looked really cool!

Cool concept, wish there was more unit variety!

Very haunting!

Really like the concept, sounds and win condition! I finished all the levels! My main complaint was that most of the level's felt 'the same' so just employing the same general pattern/strategy worked for lots of levels. Would be cool if there were newer ideas introduced further into the game.

I liked the sounds and game feel! Seemed a bit easy though I just maxed out teleport and energy capacity and it seemed impossible to lose.

Really loved the game! Just didn't like how the end I got to the level 10 monster and there was nothing I can do about it. Seemed like it's best to just hold onto a monster becomes gold and cheese it that way.

Love the concept and the juice for moving and placing the cards! Felt a bit quiet sometimes and some sounds felt like they were missing (like enemies and player taking damage). I also noticed sometimes that the bullets did no damage? Or maybe the enemies just had more health but their size was small so I assumed it would have killed.

Mechanics were good, felt like the 'randomness' was a little bit of a miss sometimes. Like I was going to lose since I did a bad build but the enemy bowman did a special and basically wiped out their own team. Would love to see more levels with varying amounts of starting cash you can play around with!

Pretty good! Needs some feedback when missing/hitting notes, sometimes I didn't really know if I was doing well or bad.

Executable crashes for me but web version works. It was a bit overwhelming and the UI clutter didn't help. Looks like there are a lot of systems so it can have potential!

Really like this one! I just wish there was a fast forward button, it's a bit boring waiting 3 minutes in between waves after you have built everything

Maybe the earlier levels that are meant to teach you this are so obvious that the specific win condition isn't really 'taught'. I think for me it was just the last 3 levels where I had to think about what to do. Maybe you need to do like a 'gotchya' rug pull on the player to have it communicated?

Could you explain the win condition for me? I thought it was just that each colour just needs to create an 'island'

Awesome music and fun concept! I think there's a typo, the arrows say they cost 1x wood but use up 5x. Didn't really see the point of the stone pickaxe; since once you've cleared all the stone on the main path you have enough for the stone axe and there are no stones left. Really good overall though!

am I missing something obvious here?

The game freezes for me on chrome and nothing happens after the first level in the itch io app :(

(1 edit)

Some reason my previous reply did not have the images.

Sure here are some condition I thought would be a 'win'

All the circles are in pairs so I am not sure why this doesn't win.

I see the swaps now. I feel like some more user feedback for it would be helpful (like don't consume a move if a swap were to do nothing). Or some dynamic highlighting based on how the swaps would occur based on the rectangle shape.

I think the game is broken for me. I collect all the water on the first level and then nothing happens :(

I found the puzzles and concepts really compelling! My main gripe was just that the game rules sometimes felt inconsistent/weren't communicated effectively. There were a few times I thought we hit the victory condition but we didn't win and the circles would sometimes swap in an unexpected way. Really liked the music too and sounds!

Really liked the intro, music, and aesthetics! I had a bug where the entire floor was black (nvidia gpu). The shooting was really satisfying but the melee felt a little inconsistent. Super great overall!

Really love the animations and graphics! I felt like the scoring system wasn't that exciting and I would like more puzzle levels like Level 4. Controls could also be tighter, otherwise solid!

I like the concept of  growing a tree but I found the resource management to be confusing so I just ignored it. Colours were pretty but sometimes difficult to read what was happening. It has good potential to become something cool!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I agree it can be a bit repetitive, we just ran out of time to do multiple!

Thanks for playing! We did have plans for more powerups but we just didn't have the time to create any more levels. If we take the game further we'd definitely add things like ice and fire spells.

Very clever! Enjoyed it a lot
