Both, I suppose. It can still be a large circle, I suppose, but I was thinking about having things to climb up on, or jump between, or take cover behind. Not sure how I would reconcile that with bosses being massive, and not simply destroying everything in their path, though. Lots to think about.

The basis of the game is there, and I can see it being pretty fun; 1v1 duels against a number of bosses. I think being able to earn money or experience to trade for upgrades could be fun. Perhaps having a number of different play-styles as well, relying on more/less mobility and whatnot. Having more geometry in the arena would be nice, as well.
Overall, if you keep at it, I'm sure you could make something cool out of this.
Some thoughts:
- Missing sound fx (picking up potion, killing enemies).
- Music is louder on the right side, for some reason.
- Inconsistent art style (detailed wizard, while everything else is low-res).
- Annoying to have to restart the first level from scratch if you fail the first platforming challenges, while you're getting used to the controls.
- The demo kinda just ends, and it takes like 3 minutes to beat.
Most of the art style is neat, and the character controls pretty well. There could be a decent game here, but its too early to tell.
The game seems cool, but I only played the first three levels. The jumps are super tight, to where I wasn't even sure if I was meant to clear them, or if there was another solution. On the 3rd level, I think, I got jammed in by two boxes and couldn't do anything except restart, which was unfortunate. The ghost mechanic is neat, and I could see levels getting pretty complicated, but I didn't get that far.
