Nice concept and game, the art, story and music are good, but the hitbox is pretty weird, sometimes I just get hit even tho they arent even in range for me to hit them, needed a good moment to figure out I should explode that large block, and diagonal movement is just not a thing it seems

still overall, a nice game, good job

Really good visuals, didnt notice any bugs, and the music is good although pretty quiet, or it might just be my speakers, a really nice game overall

Really fun, the theme is used although not much, but I like the music, the art is well made, and there are no bugs or problems I encountered while playing, good job and a good idea

was close to just stopping since I didnt know if I was doing any damage or not, but ended up finishing the game, dont know how this GP works exactly, nor how powerful the attacks are, but an interesting concept
I cant see my hitbox so I almost always got hit once but they dont do much damage, just enough to be low after beating the game, so balance is good, the song is decent but stays in complete silence after it ends, instead of looping, and didnt really notice anything about the story or the use of theme until I read the description, but overall its nice, there arent any problematic bugs or just in general, at least not noticable ones, so good job with that, perhaps adding some sort of dialogue, looping the song and those QoL features like boss hp and this would be really good! its already decent even without that

very interesting placeholder

I think trying to make a ball was a mistake, didnt work out, really nice game, I love the art and the music is really good, the ending scenes as well

a pretty cheesy strat is if you just stack them like a ball or a square, instead of towering them on each other
overall, really enjoyed it

Pretty fun being able to off-screen everything...until I was not

cirno truly became the strongest with this one, love the artstyle, balancing seems good, music and the story are pretty nice and I truly do love not knowing what is happening on my screen
the only challenge was really early and in the end, it does take a little time once I kill everything for the dialogue to continue, or maybe some enemy was stuck somewhere hidden, i dont know, I should have known better than to ram into the boss to find out how much ill get damaged

Overall its nice, the movement is a bit weird tho, I get stuck even at some ramps, if I get stuck in the holes with spikes, its game over, or at least I dont know of a way out, and and just when I get some good speed I really gotta be stopped by a fairy or a slight elevated block, but its alright
the art, music and the story are overall good, the game window tho is really(i mean, really) small for me, maybe there is a way to change it but i dunno
also use OGG for music, or anything but wavs, because they take a lot of space, wavs for sfx and short stuff like that is fine, this is one big game in file size for sure, and likely because of that

Definitely enjoyed it the first time I played it, same with the second, still not able to grab books when im too large, but thats not worth enough to give less than a 5 on gameplay, it was really enjoyable imo

would give 5 overall if only cirnos smile was a mustache instead :>. This game taught me to not run through portals with a "shoot first ask questions later" mindset, and the general balance in difficulty(at least outside hard mode) is a little all over the place, but its alright, music is good too, for the story there is not much to say, but what is there is good

I tried launching it a few times but the game crashes really quickly, ranging from a minute in to like, 15 seconds before I even started hiding(I noticed this usually happens when I dont start hiding straight away/play around too much with the 2 doors at the start), also took me a while to figure the keybinds to realize they were on the github page lol

sometimes it doesnt crash however

I really dont know how the game decides where to teleport me to, also I think you forgot to add in keybinds that right click  makes you leave hiding. Takes a while for the screen to fade once I lose, camera is a little weird on pc

this is hard especially the fact that once I start hiding the camera is stuck at a single point and I have to stop hiding to move it

Edit: for some reason this reply appeared like 3 times, my bad, the overall idea is nice tho

It is very easy to run out of nanites which is just game over if you do.

Ok this is my honest review of the latest 11.6.22 update:

The performance is for sure much better than it used to be, while its still not the best its still much more playable, I am pretty sure you increased the speed of 5x time, the problems are, well, the problem is the weird bug that happens when you reload your game, all the cities you had, are just gone, all of them, and you still need to pay the prize of new town like if you still have the towns that are gone, instead of 2000 it will stay as 6000 or 7000, making saving and loading game useless as if it pretty much never existed.

Loading screen for some reason takes an extra second to load than the first version, idk why is that but it does not have any big effect on the game, overall much better than last game, but also, why are the balkan countries all under the category of "yugoslavia"?? also why do I need POLAND to make a union with Germany? Doesnt make much sense, but still game is doing good so far, knowing the fact that its still a beta, also I would like the idea of adding more infantry to your nation trough Commands.

This is all I have to say about this game for now.

I hope it gets a bit more attention since it deserves it.

EDIT:

Played it a bit longer and late game is just impossible, like, I defeated poland as germany, then attacked slovakia after resting for like an entire year and more, and just get DESTROYED,I barely even DAMAGED their troops, and I had a 25% attack boost.

use 7zip if you can, its faster and better than winrar/winzip

(1 edit)

I have to say this, games performance isnt very good, there should be more than 5x speed or make 5x faster than it is right now, and please add keybinds if not already and please do something with the game constantly closing when pressing home, esc,F etc. ALSO you could probably change the guide to extracting from extract all to extract to "Conflict-/" since that already creates the folder to store the games files

yes the second part is, he is talking about countries NOT making peace 2 pixels before reaching the capital, I also love his idea because this peace right before victory is very annoying

(2 edits)

Ok here is an idea, just like the % of rebellion next to it is a button with a sword icon or a helmet icon or anything really that shows the power of the nation, when at peace it increases and during the war it is decreasing making it weaker and slower at conquering, bigger nations increase the number faster during peace

(1 edit)

I think circles are place where there are some troops, when in far, circles will also be in place of pixels conquered, thats why in fighting there is so much circles(this is just my thinking, i am not sure if its true)

There are so many suggestions here that my suggestion was probably said atleast once or twice, but it would be nice to have square or triangle for armies instead of just circles, what i mean is, that triangle could be same as 2 circles in a single spot while square is same as 3 circles, and the bigger the nation is, the larger army it should have(depending on its land position, if its in africa it wont get as much army as in europe for example
