The North is a PS1 style exploration game. Talk to NPCs and try to solve a murder onboard an arctic ship trapped in the ice. You play as Doctor David Barclay, the ship's surgeon and the one man above suspicion. Interact with the crew to get clues but beware, you are not a well liked or respected member of the HMS Ectorius

I have a 3D visual novel about a murder in the arctic set in the 1800s. If ya like story rich games, this be it. Here's the link.

PS1 style mystery game. Set in the 1800s, a British navy ship is trapped in the ice and a series of bizarre incidents take place. You play as Doctor Barclay, the ship's surgeon and only man above suspicion. You talk to the crew to get clues, who are slowly going insane and despise the doctor.

Super simple game mechanics. Press F or Space to interact at prompts, press J to check your Journal. First two levels are clue gathering. 3^rd level is a simple walk about. 4^th is stealth. And the 5^th is the story's final beat before the end cutscene. Two alternative endings and a few 'mini endings' a la Nier Autmoata.

Note: Menu has issues relating to the mouse locking up. Still working on that. This is basically a 3D visual novel.

As much as I'd love to dog pile on the freebies gotta do everything in moderation. That and the frame rate is already intolerably awful. Glad ya stuck it out to the end. :3

Not sure if I want to add another level or a game over screen after the admin. Kinda hit writer's block with that one. I'll just pin a game over screen to it in the next update.
