Thank you for your reply! Have you found any decent alternatives?

I just discovered Pixelbox and am really liking it so far. I dig the aesthetic and also the workflow. I've been looking for something for a long time that encapsulates all of the game making tools (including sound) into a single package like Pico-8 but without the restrictions.
I'd love to work on a big project with Pixelbox but am wondering, is it still being developed? I saw where the Dev said it's under active development but it looks like it hasn't been updated in a few years? Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks :)
Loving this so far but it drains the battery really quickly on my mac (using a 2015 macbook pro full spec'd out) also makes it get hot. I've tried quitting everything except FREM but that didn't seem to help. I'm running it from Steam so not sure if that makes a difference. I checked the activity monitor and didn't see it using lots of resources... so I dunno?
Also I'm yet to figure out how to have a program accept input text without moving/inputting the text into the editor window.
Other that that having a blast. Thanks!!
Lol! thanks!
The limited snowballs were my attempt at making it challenging (there's only 5 levels). I guess I made it too hard haha. You get more every level for each elf you knock down.
Thank you for the feedback on the font. Unfortunately with Pico-8 I'm limited in that respect as I have to use the built-in font, but I can make the colors contrast more to make it more readable. I'll definitely do that next time.
Thanks again!
Thank you for the html template! I understand your reasoning but one thing I would mention is that if I want someone to play my game they first have to download the player which makes them less likely to try it. Why not just bundle the player with the export that way you are keeping them together but making it easier for others to play?
Is there anyway I could just get the current version compiled with the latest release of the node-webkit? I've been waiting for 127 days. I would just use it in the browser since it works fore me there but it looks like you have to be a patreon member to unlock all the export options. EDIT: I just saw that you unlocked the online editor for another user having the same problem. Is there anyway you could show me some love too?
