Now, do I need to start fresh with the new update? Doesn't seem I can continue from the last save.

Yes, had the same bug. After using the refiner the save file/slot is ruined and always resets to day 1. But, as Eroims mentioned in the previous post, if you use just the auto save feature, it works OK.
As for the seduce, I think you need lewdness at lvl 3 and then should be available via the action menu in combat, similar to the attacks options.

Just want to thank Eroism. Great game, fast updates... just awesome!
