I am looking forward to playing this the whole way through. What I have just seen is awesome. Great world building and Pixel art.

Definitely worth expanding and exploring these characters.

Great world building. This was fun to play, as it was full of imagination, charm and some cool characters. Thanks for the inspiration!

If your project had problems, there’s no shame. Learning the limits for pixel art on the Game Boy comes with it’s own demands. Then there is the technical requirements of the itch project page. Hopefully, for first time jammers, this jam has allowed you to learn the process.

Tasty. There are lots of omitted colours of the fruit and veggies, but I can see in my minds eye the colours clearly for each piece. Nice.

Thanks for the share. Nice. The pixel art works by itself though, looks totally awesome.

Moths are aliens amongst us, like octopus. This is a great image, did you use any reference to actual moths? I feel I can see an Owl in there.

Great image, very nice idea and the composition is awesome.

Great work, let me share this… youtube floating island by Bad Dad

Great work, keep it up, great characters. You have talent Sir.

Great animation, I saw this on Reddit, but as I don’t have an account I am posting my congratulations here! Well done, nice story behind the visual.

Thanks for the write up. It’s a great experience hosting this Jam. Great choice of work, though there are plenty more stella pieces.

Wonderful sprite work, love the paired down elements of a first person shooter. Plays great. Congratulations!

Great work, the palette was a good choice, works really well.

Halloween/cat/ghost mashup. Really well done. Great use of palette. Lots of character and cute. Thanks for the sub

Wow. Love this. Totally powered up! Thanks for the sub.

Great work, thanks for the submission.

Yeah. Definitely use it in a game. Use GB studio of course! Great work.

Great idea, love how we can just about read it!

Love the sleep bubble coming out of the nose. Really nice image, congratulations.

I like the fact you’ve included your reference. Nice interpretation.

Nice sense of anatomy, difficult posture captured really well where every pixel counts.

I dig it, great composition and use of the palette.

Nice evolution.

Thank you, makes my day.

Thank you for your kind words, both on the image and the jam. Both were fun and it’s great to reach other inspiring artists.

Really good character, I can tell it was made with feeling and affection for the subject. Love your description too.

Love this, as another comment has noticed, great character work.

Great work. Full of character. Thank you for submitting.

Thanks, I worked on what I could in the time. Using a paintbucket on tiles is a great shortcut to fill in while your working out the composition and light/dark balance.

Nice, I like the metaphor of struggling with the palettes. The choice, what to do etc, at least that’s how I read it.

Very well crafted, great job.

Nice, you’ve suggested an interesting technique. Love to hear more.

You had to get the wavy effect in didn’t you, you just couldn’t leave it! ;P Great stuff Rob, good sentiment. Totally agree, offline perma computing!

You and ChunkySteveo have made a little sub-genre of paper sim images. Great stuff.

Love this, the horror!

It’s a great idea.

Great work on the hair, I’ll send a link later, here. Use the link while logged in to your itch account.

Nice work, great portrait, of anyone particular in your life?

The feeling of light reflecting off of a translucent jelly cornea is incredible. A bit 2001 “open the pod bay doors hal,.. never mind, I’m tripping”.
