i played this on steam and absolutely loved it. the art is phenomenal and it showcases the tragedy of the witch trials without being trivializing. it feels more like an interactive art installment than a game, and i mean this in a good way!

ohhhh my gosh. my first time playing, i didn't find all seven souls and was really confused when nothing happened at the ending until i only counted 6 souls. i assumed the violinist was the seventh soul until i saw another persons playthrough where they found all seven and had an actual ending. i'd totally passed by the old asylum area, which was by far the scariest part i think, overshadowing even the ending. super cool game and i love the simple mechanics and immersive sound design. side note, i decided to check this out after playing daemonologie! i look forward to seeing what else you put out!

this is such a creative and fun idea! the details around the house are great, especially the inconspicuous books about murder lol. and the way the character moves is so unique and freaky

major agree to the thing about trigger warnings. i'm glad that the description now contains a CW for suicide, gore, AND sexual assault.. it's is a major improvement and i'm sure lots of people appreciate the change! i don't think content warnings spoil the plot at all. it's just a basic courtesy for devs and artists. i think adding warnings for gore etc but not child abuse and SA would just add insult to injury. i know personally, i can play games and watch movies with certain topics if i know to expect them beforehand, but if one of my triggers comes up with no warning it can be reeeally bad! having accurate warnings on games makes a lot of media accessible to me when otherwise i'd just have to avoid anything that could potentially contain my triggers
