such a cool idea, and the music rocks!

Not sure either lol

lovely vibes and concept!

oh of course I mean, I wasn't asking why not redo half the game XD but more like, what made you stick to that same idea, as I think this game could stand on its own without it

Really cool, but I wonder, why not lean more into your twist (go down, platforms break, then climb) and let go of the downwell downwards shot?

I'm really happy to see you doubling the record but a bit sad to see you mute the music haha.

In case the game starts getting a bit stale for you, I'm gonna suggest a couple of variants the previous world master and I came up with:

Stairway mode: you can only turn right and up.

Spiral mode: you can only turn 90° (relative to your angle at that time).

Thanks for playing!

I'm afraid not, but thanks for your generosity! For now its just a free browser game. At some point we might consider making a commercial version with improvements and extra stuff, but other projects keep getting in the way XD

I love the main mechanism!

I agree with what Edu said down there, and I'd also recommend a faster death transition.

This is really good nonetheless!

I gotta ask a friend about it, I think he is quite familiar with newgrounds. BIg thanks for the suggestion!

Haha you're using the same songs as us :P they're so good! Rad idea too XD

pretty neat!

Yep, I had already done a "final" logo with that name. Then I convinced my partner to change the name cause I was afraid people ignoring the instructions might try to avoid bombs, instead of "eating" them. Several other games are called like that anyway.

That's almost the prototype's name hehe

That's a great point thanks!

Hey this is a very cool way to build on the "always move straight" puzzle

holy shit this page looks amazing

like Tumbleseed with less production value, but the mechanisms built around the core movement are so much better in this one

some other people have mentioned the same. We're not sure how but we might try improving that. Thanks for your input!

Thanks! its nice to know this is still getting played

Thats about the average for us devs XD I've gone beyond a couple of times, but they were really exceptional. My partner is better, but still not too far I think.

What makes it feel that way? XD
What direction would you recommend to grow towards?
Do you think its missing something important? (you can be blunt about it)

Hi there! We wanted an online leaderboard but scrapped that for...reasons XD long story. Very uncomfortably decided to try a Share feature for people to show their score on socials and maybe find more players, but so far very few seem to like it😅. If we update we might go back to a classic leaderboard.

For context, assuming you're on speed 2, and not on mobile:
-Beginners can be proud getting between 50-100.
-I've obviously played a ton and wanna think I'm decent, my record is 961 but I rarely get 500+. The coder once got ~1700, that wasn't typical either.
-Some inhuman people are going way over that. The current record afaik is ~26000 XDDD.

Thanks for playing!

Glad you like it! We haven't talked at all about putting it somewhere else, some people have suggested other portals too... Its very cool knowing newgrounds have their own leaderboard api, do you know if they force you to include ads in the game?

Did you find that aspect clear/intuitive? I'm a bit worried people might not get it😅

wow this is so Good!

Do you know about playingcards.io? it would be neat to have a playable version online, and its pretty easy to learn & use

you mean trap inside as in, the entire game happens in the subway, or trap more literally? cause in yours there are 2 ways out I think?

I work as a firewatcher in summer and we had a ton of big wildfires 2 years ago in Spain, (also under suspicious circumstances), so this hits on a personal level.
What worries me the most is that these disasters are becoming more and more frequent, we currently have no means to stop them, and on the long run they can devolve into different environmental issues... But people don't seem too concerned about it.

As terrible as this is, lets hope it works as a wake-up call for people in your country, and preventive measures are taken so that it doesn't repeat on the same scale.

Playing on firefox there seems to be collision detection issues when clicking stuff, also the game doesn't occupy its entire space, might be related.
Cool topic though, and nice personal story ;)

wtf Toni this is really clever

damn this is really clever pancelor

yay!

what a cool setting! gonna do some googling about phumdi after writing this comment.

I showed this to a friend, we both had a good time with it, but since you're asking for feedback, get ready for a big pile of text over Discord XD

such a cool idea!

Kindneeeess!!!

I guess paying to pick cards is done before the EVENTS trigger right?
I think misremembering that sentence about "Queens doing something before an event" made me uncertain of that. I kinda wish paying would come later :P. Everything else seems pretty clear in the rules, although certain questions are cleared in a different place than expected.

I got 76 without actually thinking much about movement efficiency, so I think 50 must be possible yeah.
Really cool game, its surprising how much fun it is despite the simple concept.

Hey this is a pretty cool concept!

Hey mokesmoe I think this is a pretty cool idea!
