well I'm not sure what to say, I've only played about a dozen levels. The "rules" are very clean and straightforward.

Some levels feel like they drag on a bit, if you manage to stall and survive a long time (I only accept saving all villages as real victory lol).

I wonder if it will get old over time without new mechanisms. Other that that this is a super solid game, with strong atmosphere too.

wow this is awesome. My record is 12 so far

very fun idea! I just wish you couldn't accidentally throw the spintop out of the screen XD

Don't see myself getting more than 18 any time soon XD how can something this simple be so much fun

lovely concept, and well executed. Super pleasant look and music

very interesting game

wow these snowmen look amazing!

This was lovely, but the music stopped kinda soon for no apparent reason, maybe a bug?

kinda expected a 2d soko-like, got something much cooler! haha

Who knew splitting attack into 2 different stats could be so interesting (damage for creatures, points for players).
Discarding cards as a cost is ever getting more popular, for good reason. Hard choices plus luck mitigation, can't go wrong with that.
The number of playable cards based on hand size is also quite clever.
Quite impressed with just the base game, and I guess it only gets better further down with more cards!

it would be cool to try this on a digital adaptation (playingcards.io for example)

cool idea! not super challenging but still everything is really well done

the start can be really nasty lol, no idea if this is any good

Very neat!  and quite harder than it seems at first.

I kinda wish 1s were considered adjacent to 6s, that way randomness would have a smaller impact...

the pics made me think this would be just like wii's paper mario, but its actually more unique than that (endless runners not being revolutionary ofc, but this still is unique in the genre). very well done

Probably the best free game I've played on itch in months. Not even kidding, wow

wow these looks so good!

just discovered this, what bangers! holy shit!

I don't think its impossible but it does make it feel like losing progress, which can be frustrating for some. Still pretty good imo!

dude I don't think I can make any progress at all, but the voice acting in this is absolutely nuts!

took me a bit to figure out how to reload etc. I wish there were a few more things to do inside the ship, but I agree its a very cool concept. Love the cat pic too!

That's a relief, thanks for playing! Btw which one do you prefer?

Glad you like it, thanks!

Haha I asked the top player (he is a friend) to make sure he hadn't found a dominant strategy, and  he said he got a few more stars than usual but basically played exceptionally well. He didn't even use the undo reroll trick lol.

What is your record so far?

Very neat! At first I was a bit disappointed because it seemed like the obvious mix of classic RL tropes with deckbuilding (yet again!), but the discard cost, the wait cards and a couple other things make it different.

you think so? you can still change it if you want right?
Out of curiosity, whats the logic behind the "detonators", how does the game decide when to spawn them, their color etc

ok that last bit of instructions makes things a lot more clear haha. I think the "explosive" bits having another color is a bit confusing, what if they flashed white?
In any case its amazing how much character you've put into "just colored squares", a couple transitions and some intriguing sounds. I wish I could do that XDD

as someone that found Inscryption highly overrated, (amazing atmosphere, meh card game) I feel conflicted about games going for a similar thing.

I think I like the "real" game here more than Inscryption? XD So considering that game was such a hit and surely took way longer to make, this is great!

PS: it seems you might have changed the name at some point and forgot to update the description/file names? :P

IMO its an interesting take on our previous snake-take haha. I fear this is too weird if coming directly from the original snake XD

this looks neat and clean! if only I had a project I could use it with...

really nice idea

dude I love the way this looks, hope I can find some time to play it soon

wow, what a banger

really neat idea! I'm kinda crap at it though XD

I think the rules could be a bit clearer, but its a cool idea. I recommend you make an online adaptation on playingcards.io so people without a traditional deck can try it too

PS: I got a PERFECT :D

really neat way of indicating enemy attacks clearly without spending ages on animation haha. I also love the music, though everything is impressive as a whole.

Gonna be honest, I'm quite jealous of the aesthetics here. Seem easy to make but still look stylish, distinct and have character. Movement and juice are also spot on, super impressive for a 3 days project.

the music is really lovely!
