Thanks for reaching out! I did try to do something with the last responder. between my work schedule and our time difference it didn't leave much room to really dive into something. They're a cool dude though lol
I've switched from what I was working on with the previous person to something simpler.  My partner I started this all with hasn't had much time to work with me so I've been doing it all myself. I have a pretty good project set up right now in terms of completion. I'm still open to working/ learning from others! I mostly only have weekends free and I'm in US East time zone. We can chat if you're within somewhat of a close time zone if the time difference isn't too drastic.

Hello All! Im a beginner pixel artist [been at this for a year now] currently working on a passion project with a close friend. Neither of us are proficient in coding but are learning. We're both actually audio engineers, he a composer, and I (M), a foley artist.

I'm trying to find anyone with programming experience in GML to join us in learning and making games. We're only doing 2D right now so GM is our preferred tool for that. I do all artwork in Aesprite.  We are U.S. East time zone. 

We eventually want to make a full project with a commercial release, but we want to perfect this craft first.

We work on the project in our spare time and on weekends and try to meet once a week to keep progress flowing. This is not a paid project hence the educational tag since we're trying to gain more experience and would love to have another like minded friend join us! Since we're learning, we're open to other game ideas. I do have quite a few other concepts laid out for potential projects beyond the one we're working on now.
