Thank you! That worked :) I had no idea that setting existed :P

I'm curious, I'm probably doing something wrong :P But I was just playing around and I couldn't seem to figure out how to make the dice react like dice, it sorta distorts when it rolls or moves around in any way.

Just curious what I'm doing wrong :P

Cool game :)

Looks cool :) I saw the Korean, I'm actually living in Korea also, although I don't speak Korean :)

For some reason doesn't play for me, I just get a black screen and the music. I'd be curious to try it out

Neat atmosphere :D

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly :) I'm going to buy it. Just one quick question so I understand, so basically with this it would let me track through GA what events may or may not be triggered by a player? For example if someone beats the game, I could set the GA to report that event that trigger inside of construct?

Does this plugin still work with Construct 3? just wanted to check before I bought it. Also how hard is it to get set up, I know my way around this stuff pretty good, but any documentation would be great too :)

Between two Worlds - Family Day (unfinished, but playable)

https://pixelpun.itch.io/beyond-two-worlds-family-day

Yeah did too It would have been cool to submit to the jam, but I'll just put it out on my page, was cool to work on any ways :)

Yeah it’s weird cause you would think they would like their cart to be picked. The person had to have seen mine I sent an email, I was the only one to respond to their tweet and I send a message on twitter, but nothing :/ But not a huge deal was more of a learning experience, this is such a cool Jam idea just the whole hunting people down thing doesn’t seem to be ideal

Yeah, it was really easy for the person I picked, I found their personal website which I reach out to first but never heard back, then I reached out to them on twitter and also never heard back, my last ditch effort was to comment on a post, but also never heard back :/

Maybe the people who run the cart design contest or however those carts are made, they could do a check box to agree that the carts could be used in game jams and then we wouldn't have to hunt permission down.

But I'm still pretty happy with what I made so not a huge deal.

A bit bummed, but I just join these to learn something and making my entry did teach me a lot, I would have loved to enter but the person who did the art for the game cart that I picked hasn't gotten back to me over a few attempts now. I didn't know to enter we had to show proof until  about 4 days ago, I just figured if the game was very loosely based it wouldn't matter and then when I went to see what the upload was like there are places for that proof of being able to contact the designer.

I wonder if in the future a better way of going about a jam like this to reach out to the cart designers before hand and see if they are interested in their carts being used in a game jam that way we know that all the carts could be used in that way.

But like I said not a huge deal, I was curious if anyone else had trouble getting in touch with other designers about using their cart? The one I picked in particular was "Between two worlds".

I'm going to change the name of my game to something different and just upload to my page, I do wish everyone luck with their games :)

Cheers!

My attempt was walking around a 90s museum, but everything isn't quiet as it seems. I'll probably switch up the name to "Family Day" or something like that idk.

Very cool game :) I really like the animation on the characters walking in and the art over all, very good job on that :D Also the voice in the beginning was cool, I didn't expect that. Overall I like what you did :)

Hello! So about 80%of the art in this game was generated via AI, otherwise I wouldn’t have had the time also :) usually I do all my own art but I wanted to focus mostly on the systems and game design. The monsters did take some time still to make all the parts and get them ready even with AI, mostly cause there is a lot to generate and separate out. But was a fun process to make it :) normally when I make a game I get lost in making the artwork so it was nice to take that off my plate.

Thank you!

I like it, really smooth to play, the concept is simple, but over all I played this longer then most games in this jam :)

Almost got most of everything working. The monster will only be reviled after you do your mixing of elements to create the mutation. The game will allow you to mix over time, but you an also mix and add elements faster by clicking, this will also effect the scoring of sorts.

I like it! Very chill vibes and nice graphics I love the pixel art style :)

Video of menu and music

Also the monster's aren't 100% complete I still need to add a mouth and possible a nose if I have time.

I got the monster mutations working, so far I have about 8k different monsters that can be generated, think of it kinda like an NFT type generator based on idle style inputs.

Been a tad hard to work on the game lately, I'm still going to finish it as best as I can, but I've had a lot of work work the past few days :/

Should be a version to download :) Hopefully that works :)

Yeah, I just tried, to upload as a windows file, but it took down the html version :P I'll figure it out eventually... lol Pretty new to this site. Cool you played it though, I think I had more fun making it, then it is actually fun... a few buddies of mine who worked with me at that job though it was hilarious :P
I'll figure it out though :)

Ha, maybe, I'm not 100% sure how to do that, but I'll give it a shot... :P

I started using GameSalad like 10 years ago I made about 6 games for ipad and iphone all of which were trash for the most part, the game I spent the most time on was a game called Plocks, it was a block game where you tried to bounce a block onto a platform by breaking down the stack.  Otherwise I haven't done much to be honest, I entered some game jams, I came in 3nd place for my artwork/graphics in Ludum Dare about 5 years ago and one of my games won 2nd place in a GameSalad game jam, to this day that was the best game I ever made... which Samsung owns... it's dumb.

But otherwise just making games for fun now :) Going to enter a ton of game jams, I mostly work with Unity and Construct 3. My experience is mostly with artwork, pixel art, graphic design and traditional art. I hate coding for the most part which is why I use construct, but I am learning everyday. I sorta realized that it doesn't really matter what engine you use as long as you are having fun while creating your game, that is what really matters to me the most.

Hello :)

So this will be my first post about this cool game that I am working on. I've had the idea kicking around in my noggin for a while now and I am sloooowly attempting to get this first stage done and playable by (come up with some reasonable date) the end of the year :D I am developing the game in Construct 2 and learning as I go along. Originally I made game on Mac in Gamesalad, I know very little about coding so I have to use engines that are somewhat noob friendly.

I would really like to build out 3 more areas for the game a spooky hospital, a crypt and grave yard and some type of castle or haunted mansion.

I hope to  make 2 posts per week on progress

Below is me making the Ghost Express Elevator for the game, just a quick video of me drawing the pixel art in photoshop and then implementing that into construct 2.
