You weren't kidding when you said the october 31st update had less content than the rest, Killigan just went to bed, woke up, got his weapon and then left Aris, not even a full day

Can't complain though, it was cool to finally get to see what his weapon was gonna be, i should've gussed it was gonna be a warhammer
Also it's probably best that you decided to revamp the game's inner workings before the story starts to really pick up steam which i can only assume is from now onwards
Would suck to be like 60% through the game and have to rework it

CW: // Contains HEAVY spoilers about most of the game

Honestly, i'm gonna have to make a save just so i can pick the option to run away with Koshiro in a future update, i've gotten to chapter 7 with all the characters and i'd say Koshiro's is my favorite and in my opinion the best, idk if it's just because it sort of cuts to the chase when it comes to pacing but it actually gives some insight unlike the others

like for example, who exactly Gaius was, that was a big one, also i kind of already figured it out after being murdered by Ramos and Leandros in the visions but finally confirming my suspicions that the blade really IS cursed and that using it would result in a possible bad ending, well..

I'm just glad i realised that in chapter 4 and not like, chapter 19 or something like 1 and a half years from now

overall though, i think Koshiro's path for me was strangely "immersive" like, for starters, i find it hard to believe that a large settlement like the one in Ramos path, a small village like in Leandros path, and Koroshi's village would all be on the same island or islands in the same general region

but i could definitely imagine Koshiro's village being on a small, isolated island, it would also add an extra bit of realism since it'd be easier to keep secret that way
For some reason, i totally imagined the confrontation with Gin if Koshiro had given the MC a katana instead, an anime fight scene with the MC wearing a straw hat along with the kimono they're given earlier in the story honestly wouldn't be out of place, all the major characters have a stunning level of detail in their art, even Jorgen who (as far as i can tell) doesn't seem like he's gonna do much at all outside of Leandros' route, not including his brief appearence during the sea monster's attack and at the start of Ramos' route, i hope we get to see more of Jorgen or at least give him a good send-off

"Yeah that needs to be changed"
The real tradgedy in the ruthless ending is the fact that all the guests had to deal with the wi-fi password because they never got a chance to add screens to the hotel's translation lmao

Just finished the game for the (technically) first time, and it was AMAZING
Initially i didn't know the consequences of sending Asterion out to the valley so for some reason, even though i treated Asterion really well during my first playthrough i still got to the start of the ruthless route and i was fuckin' enraged

So then and there i deleted the game for like a day, came back to it because i got the stupidest sense of game guilt, and ended up spending the next 2 days making sure i did everything right, took me doing the Hinterlands over once to figure out the best order for me, but i did basically everything there was to do except develop Pedro and Oscar's relationship to it's fullest, i found the shed, gave the 12 a proper burial, and returned the old Tapir's skin.
Honestly at first i hated the hinterlands chapter because i thought

"are they seriously not gonna find the hotel after all that, and only the ones inside the hotel get a happy ending?"

So i was, as you could imagine, relieved when they showed up at the hotel in the last chapter, i went down the romance route with Asterion and everything turned out A OK', it felt really rewarding giving everyone a pretty satisfying ending, even Nikos and Hermes, and i'm under the impression if i had filled Luke's bar all the way i would have been able to go on a romance route with him as well, decided against it tho before the final one, didn't get to complete Asterion's project or anything other than the restaraunt screens though..

I know it might actually be pretty tedious to implement this, and it would make a lot of players' really pissed if you did but, it would be interesting if there was a way to somehow complete every project, didn't keep me up at night though, i think it's already enough that Asterion and the MC have their entire lives to complete the game's remaining objectives in canon
