cannot start the game. It looks dead.

The game is stuck in fullscren with the godot logo and the music running.

A shell appears with the following message:

I'm sorry but the work was already started a bunch of days after the post.
You can still send an email (check all the post above) with all the info in order to be added into an address book and called in case of need.

Kind Regards

Before anything: Maybe I've not explained adequately: There's a need of a substitution and the one that is going to pay is a PRIVATE that already works as QA Game Tester for a Company (that is not play2.it - that is a non-profit project - we are just friends).
He's actually in need since he's at the hospital and he wants to conclude a specific task (no matter the company that he works for). This post is not about "arguing" but I try to reply in the best way that I can.

"18 Europe currency for an hour is not going to get you a professional when   the same job offerings are over  30 to hire a professional plus with benefits too"

1) Name your price, that's what usually professionals do. Note that there's a ~ (tilde ) near the 18€ (net), that means approximately. You need also to add the taxes, etc that cannot be presumed since we are in an international market (check also point 2).
Anyway the current (Average) hourly pay for long term hired professionals is lower than 18€ (gross - that means in ).

The current market is telling something different and even the same person in need does not gain what you are supposing. But there's no problem and no will to argue about the costs (name your price).

https://www.gameindustrycareerguide.com/video-game-tester-salary/

"Then looking at your website you don't have VAT to conduct business since you will have to pay taxes for it."

2) The website is Totally unrelated! I'm NOT the one that is hiring.
Even if the website is unrelated, even if it's a non-profit project (Again: not related to this post!), it has a VAT nr (related to another company) to satisfy local rules in italy.
The one that is paying is a different subject.
There's no need to argue about it.

Depending on the country the taxes are up to the one that is receiving the payment. Since we are on an international market it's impossible to predict which taxes the receiving side is going to pay.

"This also goes into question on how will you pay, you normally pay by paypal i assumed since many smaller business do but a professional would like to do it professionally and get it by bank ACH or IBAN/SWIFT/BIC."

3) I'm NOT the one that is paying you (read again the post) and I don't the payment method that you are going to use.
The payment method is totally indifferent and makes no sense to suppose that a bank transfer is more or less professional than paypal. It makes no difference.
For sure you (whoever) could be paid with any preferred (most common) payment method. What I know (since I already know that he uses them) is that there's no problem for both bank transfer or paypal.

"You be paying  648,  you need to do this to avoid cost."

4) I don't know what is that 648. What costs are you referring to? If it's about paypal (that you introduced as payment method) we don't care about those marginal costs and It's more than obvious that they can be agreed before going ahead (not with me but with the counterpart that is paying).
That's not an issue and there's no need to argue about it.

"Just saying that if you going to be asking for a professional, you may want to actually be ready for one"

5) I don't know ... a professional usually shows what he can do, names his price, makes his own agreements and try to conclude every aspect. Taxes management is up to him (as for the counterpart for his own taxes).

A member (friend) of our group "play2.it" is looking for a person for the Game Testing of a videogame (approximatively 1 week) since he's unable to complete the task due to personal problems.

Before disclosing the game, giving all the necessary informations (copy of the binaries, private account, etc), he asked me to find a Professional Game Tester (knowledge of quality assurance and game design).
Since all the people that I know are on holidays I'm (quite randomly) asking on forums.

----
The game is Only for Windows PC.

---
If you can please send Only a presentation email so that he can understand  what you have done before and if you can fit the specific task.

Send to info@play2.it
a detailed explanation of what are the most common procedures that You follow/followed when testing a game, which softwares you are using or have used for your activities, a sample of your report (please, no real/private data) if you are using custom ones.
Please, don't send a curriculum but if you worked with A-AAA games it's better to let us know it in a simple sentence (ex. I worked on XYZ games for XZA company).

I will not answer back and you will get a mail if there's an interest in your profile (it would be a reciprocal waste of time). I do not collect your data (privacy, etc). Do not send spam (please).

Just to have an idea of the payment
~18€/hour (6hours/day) x 6 days

You will discuss later on the possible economic agreement.

Note that the game already has a standalone software with automatic error reporting, some debugging utilities, cheat/anticheat etc. Details will be disclosed later.

We are a very small group of people looking for other contributors for a non-profit project (play2it).
A few of us (from italy, germany, uk) are working as Game Testers, Reviewers/bloggers about games, etc. and are just participating for fun.
-
We are currently publishing on youtube channel [link] uncut gameplays and walkthrough and we are in need of new contributors for gameplays of any (playable) game or very promising preview/early access game.

-

We are giving you, for the effort, a symbolic sum for each Gameplay:

- 0,30€ for lower res/hd videos (min 720 - 1080)
- 1€ for 2k (hq 3d games)
- 1,50€ 4k (hq 3d games)

For walkthroughs we are open to your (economic) requests since it would be complex to determine the effort for each different game but we keep the possibility to decline them (sorry).

We are not pretending from people to waste the basic costs (ex. electricity for playing) but we cannot afford larger sums since I'm (the one that is writing) actually the one that is personally paying the contributions and all the various expenses/costs of the project even if there are some services sponsored by a company (By a friend, Without advertising).

---
How to Send us the gameplays

Send us the link to your private youtube video, description (optional), tags (optional), thumbnail (optional) to info@play2.it
If you prefer an ftp transfer we can arrange an ftp account for you.
If you prefer a different way to send the videos, in a non complicated way, use it without problems.

For the payments we are using Paypal for friends and family (we are really doing it as friends giving back the extremely basic expenses) but we can send them via bank transfer (more than 1€) in SEPA/EU.

---
Informations and some limitations
There's no limit for the gameplay but a minimum of 9-10 minutes is required except if the game is well explained/represented in fewer minutes (ex. video divided with the essential/interesting parts of the game).
The videos must me genuine and not copied from other sources (please, avoid us legal issues).
Please, no evident "sponsoring" or advertisement in the video since YT already warned us about such things (we don't want the channel closed).
Please, no video of videogames explicitly prohibited to be published in any form (for ex. we already got a strike from youtube for "The Centennial Case A Shijima Story" - without even publishing it) or adult games.
There's no need of any cut/video editing, voiceover (no commentary needed), whatever. If you feel that is necessary you can do it.
There's no problem if it's your own or a third party game, a gameplay from a demo, a free game, free to play game, a random recording of your daily gaming session, etc.
By request we can add link in the description of the video (send the description with the link).
Do us the courtesy to check that the game is not already present on our youtube channel (except if you think that you have a better proposition. Ex. there's 720 video and you want to send a 2k video.).

---
Note (again) that we do it without profit and we actually do not monetize the videos (over 1000), so it's all at our personal expenses, for free and for fun.
Any possible future gain would be sent back in services to the channel/project and relative activities (moneys to the contributors or third parties) and possibly other services like mini-tournaments with Prizes for the Winners, etc.
If things would evolve in a different manner we will (transparently) inform you before that it happens.

Thank you for your time.
Kind Regards
