Any updates? Because I still can't download the game.

(Posted this in a different topic, but the original poster was having a different issue so I'm moving it to a new topic).

The Mac build can't download on the itch app due to uncompression problems. Not sure how to fix it, but if you're using butler (which I assume you are since the files are above the 2gb web limit) you could honestly just push the .app without bothering to .rar compress it - the file size savings don't seem that important, plus patch shipping would mean much faster updates (partial updates can't be done with compressed files).

hey, i was just wondering if you could consider uploading to butler, itch's own service, instead of mega? uploading to butler lets you upload up to 30gb instead of up to 2gb and it lets you download off the itch app (impossible with external hosts like mega).

the itch app can't uncompress the rar, so the mac version can't be downloaded from the app. seems like its down to file permissions. given that you're using butler (i assume, given that the rars are over itch web's 2gb upload limit) it might actually be best to just push the .app without compressing.

Hey,

Been really enjoying the game, but I'm using the itch.io app and the experience is...imperfect. I was just wondering if you could maybe look at some fixes to make it work better on the app?

1 - Could you tick all of the platform checkboxes on the .jar version? The itch app doesn't let you download a build unless it matches your OS - I'm on mac, and no matter what the only version I can download is the mac .rar. If you tag the .jar version with some platforms, you can then download it through the itch app as well as the native version.

2 - Speaking of the mac .rar, the itch app doesn't handle it well. At all. Literally throws an error every single time I download it, I have to do it through the web. Would you be able to upload it another way than through a rar? This page by the itch team talks about how the app handles different file formats, but they mostly recommend using the command line tool butler to upload the executables directly without compression - butler has a 30GB upload limit versus 2GB on web, plus it only uploads changes, so users can update faster. (also it says it "heals permissions for linux and macos executables", so maybe mac users won't need to xattr and chmod, but idk if it would fix it guaranteed)

I really like the game, it's fun and the scenes are great, but actually trying to download and update it is just a headache.

Thanks

Hey, just wanted to ask if you could tag builds with the platform they're on? The itch app PHYSICALLY will not allow you to download something unless it says it's on the right OS.

After finishing this, I can confidently say that this is a game.

OK but like wow, this is ranking high on my "come for the porn stay for the story" list. 10. characters are great and cole, sidd and artemi have the best relationship
