Hi! Sorry for such a late response. For some reason, Itch.io never notified me of your comment.... until just now.

Anyway, Thanks for your interest and offer! I will keep that in mind for later, however right now I'm just trying to get the base game ported over to the new engine, Once that's finished, then I can start focusing on other aspects of the game.

Sorry I made a devlog with a list of the patch notes but I forgot to make it public :/ Should be up now!

I have the outline of the plot established. It just needs to be fleshed out. Not sure when I will start focusing on that, but my main goal right now is to get a version of the game up that has a short introduction and a little dialogue introducing some of the characters. once I finish that, I'll work from there.

The plot wont be anything too crazy, about what you'd expect from a platformer. It will include Lilly,  her 2 friends Kat and Venus, trying to stop the main antagonist. There's a whole backstory that I'm not going to explain here, ( it's a bit dark considering the context of the game itself) and  involves an ancient war between man and machine, Machine's from that war still roam the world and the main antagonist utilizes these machines to pull off her schemes, and thus Lilly will have to stop her. Hence the name of the game "Petal" (things on flowers, such as Lilies) To The "Metal" (What robots/machines are typically made of).
