If I remember correctly, it was because they were waiting for the mobile python to be updated to the same version as the python version that ClanGen uses. Hope this helps! (i also think that mobile clangen would be pretty neat when/if we get it!)

If the latest version of the game on your device was the halloween update, then yes, this one's new.

I'm not sure if it's because of the versions you're downloading, but I tried downloading both of those versions on my windows 11 pc and the only one that booted up was the one that says windows 10, so maybe that'll work instead?

I may not be an expert or any of the people working on the game, but it sounds like it might be that your antivirus is the problem. You might need to check and see if it trusts ClanGen. Most antiviruses don't trust ClanGen due to it being an EXE file, but it's harmless. If it says it doesn't trust ClanGen, I'd suggest marking it as an exception in the antivirus. If that doesn't work, or don't know how to do that, then I have no idea either. Hope this helps!

I don't know if they are, but I heard that the Linux version works on some chromebook types. (also, idk how to make the linux version work, but i'm pretty sure it's not as simple as windows-)

None of the downloads work? I'm not exactly an expert or a mod, but I also have an HP, and the Windows release seems to work just fine for me.
