Thank you for your wonderful words, I am glad you came away from it with a heavy heart and enjoyed it for what it was! As admittedly, a lot of concepts in it are a little hard to swallow haha.
I have always seen my longer form works such as Predator's Sickness, is that if you go into it expecting a purely dick in your hand experience, I don't think a person would have super pleasant time. The way I see it, the fetish erotica aspects are a vessel for me to convey the emotional themes and narrative that I don't think could be done quite as effectively if it wasn't there. I like it too feel very human, for a lack of a better way to put it, cos at the end of the day, there is a method to the madness. Adding nuance to something that people don't usually think too deeply on is interesting in my opinion. Vore is a fetish that usually comes and is presented without consequence, without feeling for who it affects once the moment is over. Intertwining it with a lot of things such as the cyclical nature of trauma, addiction, and codependency... It speaks to me, and I hope it spoke to you as well,
There's a few ways you can go about it:
- If you have RPG maker VX Ace and know how to decrypt games, you can just crack open the files and do it directly there.
- If you have RPG maker VX Ace but don't know how to decrypt games, if you shoot me an email, I can email you an unencrypted version of SVA so you directly change all the text in game.
- If you don't have RPG maker VX Ace, shoot me an email and I can give you a document file with the full english text script that's present for the current demo.
My email is PSCfunzone@gmail.com for enquiries and I will be happy to help/answer!
There is no such thing as idiot questions! I shall answer them all!
A. I do actually, yes! Why, there just happens to be two other characters on the title screen - they're not there for no reason! Though I'll be upfront and say Kaede and Rantaro will be unlocks. For the spoiler part of the game there are 4 endings I have in mind, and completing each one would unlock a route for them in the love suite. So it'll be a while, but they're planned to be included in the game's final form.
B. Oh yeah I don't mind that all! If anything I'd think it would be amazing if more Danganronpa vore games were to exist! I think the cycle of creativity and people being inspired to make their own work is a wonderful thing! Like in SVA's credits file I shout out a few fangames that inspired me to make and work on my game. So don't let your dreams just by dreams, get out there and make it!!!
And thank you, thank you! I'm glad to hear you had a good time with the game and feedback of any kind motivates me to keep at it! I hope I can deliver with Miu's route when the time comes!!
(Glad to hear that the sfx option toggle was useful for you! I think more vore games should give players that option)
Might as well be up front and say that literally nothing in this games repainted did I ask for permission for to use, and I would not need to as it's a non commercial silly parody shitpost fangame! It's a games repainted, it's kind of the culture for this genre! I will say this though: Modern Bubsy as a concept, Sqrlyjack actually completely disowned several years ago, and eventually retooled into an OC called Spanky (and that OC does NOT appear in this game at all). Modern Bubsy as she appears in Tibby the Joyful I'd say is the same as like MU Clarence appearing in Brad Has A Pain. Or perhaps even how Sqrlyjack herself made Space Funeral 4 back in the day. Or like literally anything in Tails Gets Trolled. It's a loving homage that still pokes a lil fun. I would like to make it clear that in no way is anything towards or about Modern Bubsy in the game a reflection or criticism towards Sqrlyjack at all. I do not know her personally.
Gotcha gotcha. I had no idea of that so thank you I will get to fixing that ASAP.
Also Joel not being censored was originally part of the gag because he's a man so his boobs don't need to be. But if it's a bother to people I will censor them 🙏 Because I think in the fight itself they ARE censored if I remember correctly so ideally I suppose there should be consistency within the game.
IT IS??? Oh shit I did not realize that.
EDIT: Right, I don't know why that was missing, it shouldn't have been because that sprite sheet is where the spiders are kept. So as of writing, the game crashes when you use the camp site to heal and the RNG determines a spider should appear to poison you when you awake. That's why the crash happens so I gotta put that sprite sheet back in.
A very short and sweet little story. Beautifully tragic, with the infinite narrative loop adding to that. Pina and Flower are essentially doomed to never both florish together but the limited time they have in Flower's waking moments are cherished. I suppose that's the tragedy of it that there is no happy ending where Flower can remember, but damn it, one can dream!!
Aaaaaaaa thank you so much for your wonderful words! Aesthetically I really wanted to put my best foot forward and have everything be as polished/finished as possible upfront so I'm really happy to hear the VN succeeded there! I'm also glad to hear the writing has been enjoyable and engaging thus far, even with its thematic heaviness - it is a bit of a hard sell!
Perhaps as the author I should not extend my bias to the audience, and give my opinions on the characters at all, but I think HL is quite easy to detest. She has a very particular way in which she justifies and navigates her own actions, mainly to herself, that manifests in a sort of way where you ‘get it’ but it doesn't make it any less shitty or awful. X2-0 unfortunately buys into all of it, and jumps through countless mental hoops to sort of rationalize what she's done to ‘deserve it’ when there really isn't a validation for it. As the relationship isn't completely devoid of anything, X2-0 clings on to the smallest crumb of affection and highlights that above everything else. I think it is quite heartbreaking, personally. LYNDA is... She is trying her best. She is trying so hard and doesn't have a bad bone in her body. She is earnest in everything she does, even if X2-0 refuses to see it.
I'm also a huge fan of that sort of palpable tension and curiosity to really see where it goes in visual novels - I feel it’s a uniquely wonderful medium to tell certain kinds of much more difficult narratives without restraint. Everything comes together to deliver a one two punch as it all unfolds!
It will take quite a while for the full VN to be finished but I want to try to get out the next big part in a kind of timely manner if I can. I don't want to give any definitives but fingers crossed maybe around March!
EDIT: I think I have one now!
I realize it's half way through time for the VN making so I don't know if it's too late to be asking this but I thought I'd throw myself to the winds lol. I NEED A COMPOSER SO I DON'T HAVE TO RESORT TO USING STOCK MUSIC FROM YOUTUBE OR ZAPSPLAT!! AAAA!!!
So, long story short: The VN is sc-fi drama toxic yuri. It is 18+ as it does delve into a few heavy themes around unhealthy relationships and also contains suggestive themes (also there is nudity).
Plot is as follows: Robotics software developer HL, and her assistant an engineer by the name of X2-0, are funded by private investors to create a realistic girlfriend robot for mass production. They have just finished their prototype, prime for testing by HL. But as the robot, LYNDA, exhibits more and more human traits, the more X2-0 despairs for the relationship she and HL currently have. Their relationship was already on the rocks but now more than ever does X2-0 feel it may end. Can she convince HL that her love as a human can surpass that of the perfect vision of an ai, or will it replace her entirely?
I ended up sort of getting more in depth with it than I thought I would so for the yuri jam it is going to be a demo covering the first act which contains about 6 scenes rough 4k words each. Here are some screenshots from it so far:
I do not have a discord so my only forms of communication are via twitter and email so reply if interested ^^
Much appreciated and it makes me feel less bad about my video gaming skills to know the game is intentionally kaizo tier difficult. I can respect the decision thus to not have an ammo counter nor crosshair for the sake of intentionally immersive difficulty. The gameplay advice is helpful and I will be attempting to progress further naturally with it!
I do appreciate the 'cheat' to skip the levels that are to difficult to beat get to the yaoi VN portions!
I acknowledge that this might be a big skill issue on my part but I can't get past the first five minutes of the gameplay and I tried for about an hour. The static is constantly growing and doesn't stay at bay for long - there's not really much time to take in your surroundings at all as you have to constantly move forward. The furthest I got was the corridor with the two closable doors on either side but I then quickly got overwhelmed and it seemed like the static caught up with me from behind and I died. I really wish there was a crosshair so I could see exactly where I was shooting as well as an indication for how many bullets the gun has expended with indication of when to reload optimally. It's a damn shame because I do want to experience the game - the aesthetic intrigues me a lot and the opening conversation made me want to know more. I don't know if there'll be an update to the game or if you have any tips on how to git gud and proceed, it would be appreciated.
Absolutely beautiful read, I thoroughly enjoyed Love and Dehumanization. The desire to be love and accepted when you can't help but see yourself as never being able to fit in, contrasted with the reclamation of what from the outset could be seen as ritualistic sexual self harm to cope - fully embracing that and letting go of the guilt and allowing yourself to accept that as a part of you, and that if you let them, other people can and will understand you. The world created was also really interesting as I initially wasn't expecting it. The very concept of life and death as this expendable exchange, and the complete distancing of humanity when one allows themselves to become a monster... My thoughts are a bit jumbled because I'm still very much hot off the heals of reading through but I really must sing my praises to this work I found on a whim.
EDIT: I don't know if this counts as a spoiler or not but I want to say the revelations in chapter 3 and the exploration of that was something I wasn't expecting at all but it had me absolutely hooked - super refreshing I've never seen it handled with such grace before especially within the exploration of sexuality and the balance for control.
AAAAA!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND WORDS!!! No need to apologise for the long comment, I'm super wordy myself lmao! (and thank you for the tip I super appreciate it ;w; )
Pizza Tower doesn't lend itself the easiest to vore but I tried my darned hardest to make it work seamlessly haha! I love trying my hand at style replication from time to time so it makes me really happy to read I did a good job! While I of course didn't work on Pizza Tower, if any mod maker ever hit me up I'd gladly do sprite and art work for it in a heartbeat!
This doujinshi is a free download so I don't really think any more previews are necessary haha. So there's no drawback in downloading if what you want to see just isn't there. Don't particularly want to ambush unsuspecting folks with it all y'know. I mean the content warnings are all listed: it is same size male vore with a bit of a mean theme.
If you want more pics relating to vore from me, well, there's always my twitter (@PreyslutCloud).
If you mean more content in general for this particular doujinshi, there is also the paid DLC that has some more pics as a bonus.
