Thanks!

This is just an old beta version. The full and updated version with mod support is on Steam.

The horizontality is by design, but I wouldn't do it that way again :)

:D thanks!
This version here is highly outdated. It was just for beta-testing. For 5 Euro you find the enhanced version on steam including mod-support.

Sure, also for me it is hard to get decent feedback so I was really happy about yours. We creators have to support each other :)

I really like the zombie tower defence idea...cool setting and atmosphere, especially with the day-night cicle! I have to use the Godot lighting in future, it's so powerful.
My first thoughts what you could do...
Make more ways where the zombies can approach. And the ways should open step by step, so the thrill raises.
The sounds would need more variety. You could randomly change the pitch of each sound when it is played. What I did is to pick one random of multiple similar sounds what gives a better dynamic.
And you could give all characters (your own and enemies) different skins randomly.

Thank you so much for the feedback.
To be honest the soldiers behavior in battle was the most difficult part and in this time I was close to abandon the project. What really helped was so set a maximum of enemies that can attack a soldier at the same time. But it took a lot of time for fine-tuning.
A nice sidefact...my soldiers ran and still run into the same behavior issues as the ones in Total War :)
Regarding sound...I tried with louder screams but it gets annoying so fast after some battles.
I think Godot engine is very capable of almost everything regarding 2D and simple 3D stuff and I really love working with it. Can't wait for the performance boost with vulcan rendering in 4.0!
