I would say adding references or maybe extra scenes bringing in story from your last game.  Or maybe a statue from there makes an appearance.

Maybe some more endings. Bad, good, mid, or even something different.

A gallery mode would be awesome with some bonus scenes.

I know this is a short game. But maybe adding other ghost or ghost stories. Or monsters and creatures.

And thinking another house to visit or area.

Not bad, and just let those games back in the day hard too but i was able to beat it and unlock each render but now i wish the animations was unlockable as well. A fun and simple game, but you might get some push back on the difficulty but if you do a update to this kind of hope you can unlock the animations, but over all a good fun and short game.
