I literally have no idea!

It's an old game made on an old engine. I wouldn't be surprised if it did not work.

Not really, no. This pack is much older and originally for RPGMaker. The newer packs are higher resolution, more animations, etc.

Yes, you are more than welcome to do so!

It was a stylistic choice to use a 1:1 ratio originally, but I have been contemplating doing 2:1 ratio for the next generation of assets.

Yep, all of them are available through Patreon!

Hello! Unforunately I cannot share any of the 3D files due to license agreements!

Heya! Yes, you can assemble the characters in GIMP or Photoshop or any other graphic design software that can handle layers (I usually make mine in GIMP). As for the animations, it's a long list, but here goes: Walk, Run, Idle x4, Idle Fidget x3, Talking x2, Interact (use object), Use Item, Sit, Climb, Pray, Jump, Sneak, Crouch, Cast, Falling Forward, Falling Backward, Down/Dead Poses, Evasion Roll, Get Hit x2, Critical Idle x2, Block, Drink, Riding, and then a whole bunch of combat-oriented animations for a large variety of weapon types.

This pack does not contain characters, the character pieces are in the Doomsday Character Creator Kit 1 and 2, and they do come in 8 directional facings and all files are pngs.

Thank you kindly!

You can use it in Godot, there are people who have!

They are just graphics, you can use them in any software including RPGMaker. They are not set up like default RPGMaker tiles (which are grid-based), but you can definitely make maps to use in RPGMaker, which is something I've done plenty of times

Hello and thank you! This pack includes the following weapons: 2 axes, 3 shields, 1 spear, and 1 sword.

Ah ok - Those specific tiles are older, they can be found in the Medieval Town and Country pack: https://pvgames.itch.io/medieval-town-and-country-interiors-bundle

Hello and thank you! I don't think I quite understand what you're asking. Feel free to reach out to me in Discord, I am much more active there!

Hello! This is a combination of 2D renders of 3D models and custom-drawn assets. I cannot give access to the 3D model portion of things, though, due to licensing of the models.

Hello and thank you kindly! So the projectile weapons for monsters (some of the Mega Mutants and the Android and Drone) were made with the idea that the user would institute their own solution (most likely something made in Effekseer or something similar); this is for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that the animation frames have very little extra space to add projectiles without being completely cut-off at the edges, so it would be impossible to incorporate them into the animation itself. The second reason is that this gives more creativity and possible variety in terms of what kinds of projectiles are fired - the mini-gun could be a classic mini-gun that shoots bullets or maybe it shoots lasers - the flamethrower can shoot flames or maybe it shoots green globs of goo, or bees, or whatever else you can think of.

You are free to use the assets commercially in any project you are working on. They just can't be re-sold or edited and re-sold, but any games or other media you create with the assets can be sold.

Hello! This set contains the following weapons for both male and female characters: an axe, two bats, a cleaver, a katana, two assault rifles, a saw attached to a pipe, two different pistols, a screwdriver, a shotgun, a stop-sign shield, two SMGs, and a tire iron.

I appreciate it a lot! The game is very old at this point so there are no bug fixes being done for it (I don't think I even have the software currently that I used to make it). Maybe someday I will make a much better version of the game!

Sorry for such a late response but your kind words mean a lot!

I am not sure what the issue is off hand, this is the first time anyone has reported being stuck in Freehold!

Thank you kindly!

Amazing pack! Great work!

Hello! Sci-Fi will be done again in the future (pun!) - right now I am working on Apocalypse assets. Most of this stuff is available over on my Patreon presently, but you are welcome to come into the PVGames Discord and check out screenshots, ask questions, etc.

These are in the character packs (or monster packs). There are also tons of them on my Patreon as well, far more than what is found here.

There should be 10 tanks total, and a bunch more on Patreon that never made it into a pack, including destroyed ones.

While you can use the assets in any commercial or non-commercial project, they cannot be simply given away freely. If you have a way to prevent the assets from being released freely, then you are more than welcome to use them for your project!

I am sorry you are disappointed! The line of "Medieval" resources were originally made for RPGMaker, which only really did side-view battle stuff. If you are looking for character sprites with 8 directional attacks (and many, many other animations, all in 8 directions) check out the 2.5D line of assets, it might be more suited to what you're looking for!

If I am not mistaken, you should be able to access all of the music files inside the game directory :)

Heya! You are on the right track with the 16x16 tile size if you want to split the wall pieces into their appropriate segments. This old pack was designed for RPGMaker, which automatically does that in the map editor, but if you are using these outside of RPGMaker, you'll have to segment the walls using a 16x16 grid.

You can use these in Unity, they are just 2D assets. There are people who have used them in Unity before :)

You can!

Ahoy! These tiles were made with a 32x32 pixel grid in mind. So any RPGMaker that has a 32x32 grid or allows you to set your grid size (which I think the most modern ones do) will be fine. You can also always make parallax maps with the assets and use them in RPGMaker just fine.

Thank you! I wish you luck on your project!

Hello! Yes, you are welcome to use the resources in a commercial board or card game as you like.  Thank you!

There's a thread over on the RPGMaker forums that have a bunch of tutorials, guides, and links to helpful plugins and such. You can find it here: https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/plug-ins-tools-and-tutorials-pv...

Yes these can be used in RPGMaker! You're more than welcome to check out my games that I made in RPGMaker right here on Steam at the bottom of my page (The Last Journey being the "newest")

That entirely will depend on what you're trying to accomplish - there's no one best way to do things! Personally, I enjoy using GIMP to put together my maps in layers.

The two most common ones are Unity and RPGMaker, though there are other people who use them on Godot, Construct, and Game Maker, among others. There's also an engine being made specifically for these assets. You can find it in the PVGames Discord channel!

What were you having trouble with specifically? There's also a PVGames discord channel you can hop into, there's lots of folk there that would be glad to help as well!
