I've recently got into vn's through itch.io and, well, there are a few things I'm seeing in several of them that maybe show a lack of knowledge on the creator's part that maybe I can help with.
I'm specifically thinking about composition and some simple concepts that might help turn a snapshot photo/render into a real work of art. I'm a professional freelance illustrator/artist and am at the precontemplative stage of making my own, drawn VN.
As an illustrator composition and matching image to text is a big deal, something I think about a lot. I'd like to share some of those skills that I think would be of use to vn developers who are perhaps coming from a different angle.
But what would be a good way to share these? I could make a tutorial but what format would be best here on itch? Is there a presentation software or format that would work best here?
Thanks for reading this, and thanks in advance for any feedback and advice.

Im finding that I am cringe reading, rather than binge reading. I guess what I mean is that I am so acutely aware of the razors edge that these characters are walking, how sudden and existential the risks they face, that I am bringing all the horror stories of my professional life with me as baggage. Nevertheless, I applaud you for your work. Bravo :)
OK so I deleted, redownloaded, and had to play through as my save games crashed on loading (not a problem, just as much fun as the first time :) Unfortunately it got to the scene where they come to his door to take him to the arcade, it changed to a shot of the blue sky and then cut back to the load screen.
I'm definitely playing the Android Chapter 3 version now.
I'm struggling with this VN. This is not in any way a criticism and reflects entirely on my own history. I worked with street drug users and it has left me with a LOT of memories, preconceptions and biases which this excellently put together and presented story is challenging. I would highly reccomend it.
