I really like the demo, this is exactly my kind of survival horror. I like the setting, the mood, the lighting is nice, the way you use music (and then use NO music for specific moments) is great. Looking forward to playing more!
My only actual feedback is more UX related stuff, like when you're interacting with a medicine cabinet or the item chest, simply pressing a button on the item should be enough to move it into your inventory or out of it, I feel like having to dpad the selection all the way to the item, pressing a button, and then dpading the selection over the other way to your inventory or the item chest area, is going to get old pretty quickly.
If you can also add some way of moving only some of your ammo into the chest, like splitting the ammo or selecting an amount of ammo/items in a stack to move instead of the whole thing, will be nice going forward.

I just finished this on steam after 16 hours, but I felt compelled to buy it on itch as well.
This is the most riveting thing I've read all year. So much heart, so much intrigue. I love all of these characters so much, and the whole time it was agony wondering where this is going to go. I love the art, the UI, the presentation, the incredible soundtrack, the atmosphere and tone. Incredible stuff.
I picked this up on steam months ago based on a gushing Lena Raine recommendation tweet and she was absolutely right!
I really, really hope you get to make the next volume exactly as you plan, and I can't wait to see it!
