It's certainly a clue that something went wrong, but I don't know how to understand it beyond that. I'm hoping the developer will see this and be able to tell what exactly went wrong.
However, when I guessed "MEATY," the A was marked yellow for the left word. That being the sixth separate letter marked yellow (A, E, O, R, T, and V) for a 5 letter word, the word was unsolvable.
