sure! Would likely be fortnite esque levels of story, but would be good!

i’ll make a server and invite you

I have an idea for a cod/halo esque battle royale game/arcade shooter game. The lore of the game would be relatively simple, more focused on gameplay. However, the lore is essentially time based, allowing people to use guns from different periods (past and future), as well as fight in historical sites as well as future ones. For the arcade portion the idea is a 16 player (4v4v4v4, 2v2v2.... etc) match with multiple teams and mini objectives within the game for score or kill multiplayers which happen during random events, all occurring within pieces of the BR map for easier dev creation. Then the BR is more standard with an economy buy system, team revivals, looting, armor (halo type armor) etc. There is more to the vision of the look and mechanics sorted but can be discussed, through research I am fairly confident that all mechanics are very achievable.

I am not much of a game programmer, I have been doing lots of research and tried out some small things such as creating a weapon and movement system in unreal, but think of myself as more of a game designer and tester role. The motivation and mission would be to just create a fun game with fun and simple mechanics that you can relax and shoot each other in. I do have a full time job and do not expect people to dedicate their life to it, but more of a hobby project and if it did make money, then compensating via a rev-share which could be discussed.

I would think something like this would take a few people, mainly artists, programmers, and ideally someone good at networking. I believe it would be best to use unreal as a solid base engine for it's ease of use and solid foundation for easy scaling and upgradeability. Of course this is a seemingly massive project, but I wouldn't expect AAA quality and any work would be available for use in portfolios of your own.

Please let me know if this interests you especially if you enjoy fps games.

Thank you
