I don't have any plans to add a canonical "happy ending" like the one you described but I do have some ideas for a possible "what if" scenario contingent on Dolores abandoning her ritual that leads to a better outcome. IDK if that'd be put in the remake or in supplemental material though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You'll be happy to know that I do intend to do a commercial remake of this game once my current project is finished - actually, said current project is primarily a way to fund a Prom Dreams remake lol. It will of course have massive graphical updates, but I also plan to include some quality of life changes similar to some things you suggested (e.g. a fast travel instead of access to the elevator key) and some story expansion with regards to the three love interests. This will probably not happen for a while, but my game pages will all be updated with more information when I actually get the project off of the ground, so I hope you look forward to it!

That is a font file that should come with the RTP, though the game doesn't actually use it. VX Ace games that require RTP (like this one) may check for the font and not run properly if it's not installed. Please make sure the RTP is installed fully and correctly before trying to play the game or you may get errors! Regardless though, I hope you enjoy it :)

I'm not currently making any more changes, fixes, or updates to the game, as I have other responsibilities and projects to attend to. The differences between versions are not that big, so you're welcome to keep using version 1.2 (you should be able to access older builds to download as I haven't gotten rid of them).

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking for, the RTP files have to be downloaded for the game to run...

Are you trying to use it from the item menu or after you examine the vending machine? You'll need to select it from a prompt that pops up when you examine it. If that STILL doesn't work, then there's probably a variable error, and you can send me your file at flanoirbunny@gmail.com :D

Do you have the baseball bat in your inventory? If you don't, go up to the art room, walk above the cracked area as best as you can, and grab the bat there next to a shelf. If the bat IS in your inventory, and you can't select it... that's when we'd have a game breaking bug, but I can fix those if you send me your save file!

I admit that Edric's route is my personal favorite of the four, probably because he's my favorite character haha. "Chill and elegant" is a fantastic way to describe him, but he'd definitely be like "no. no elegant. only TRASH AND WORTHLESSNESS." Depression's a bitch don't ya know.

Could you email me your save file (found in the game's main file; the number corresponds with your save number slot in game) at flanoirbunny@gmail.com ? I can take a look at it and possibly fix your issue and send it back.

Have you checked / taken the arrows that are on display in that particular room yet? You have to have one before the puzzle will work; the message on the arrows has a correspondance to particular statues.

It shouldn't be using up MP without anything happening though, so I'll check that out (a small scene is supposed to play signifying you're doing it incorrectly).

Oh you'd better believe Ruby is their biggest shipper lmao. If you listen carefully you can hear her go "OH COME OOOOOOOOOON" every time Edric avoids confessing. ;)

Have you tried right clicking the .exe and clicking "Run as administrator"? Depending on your admin settings it may or may not help.
