Hi, I’m a Unity programmer with 7+ years of experience. I’m very passionate and dedicated to my work.

I’ve just finished a paid project and I’m currently looking for my next one. My specialty is in complex back-end systems though I have no problem working on simpler front-end ones.

What I Offer

  • Efficient, reusable & scalable code to save time
  • Adaptability to projects of any scope, from creating to maintaining codebases
  • Quality code within a provided deadline

Core Skills

  • Unity DOTS
  • Networking
  • 3D & 2D Development

Preferred Projects:
I’m mostly interested in single-player 3D projects but I’m also open to 2D and multiplayer work provided that the project is interesting. I have experience in Unreal Engine & C++, though I’m currently focusing solely on Unity projects

Rates
I offer competitive and flexible rates based on the scope and budget of the project. A general range might be between $8-$50 an hour

Contact:
You can have a look at portfolio here, keep in mind that it features only my hobby projects. If you’re interested in collaborating, you can reply here or DM me on Discord @ rc137.

No commitment is necessary to reach out — I’m happy to answer questions or discuss your project. Looking forward to connecting!

Would this project interest you? https://itch.io/t/4203629/rev-share-unity-programmer-seeking-programmers-for-a-story-driven-project

Hello fellow game devs, I’m looking for unity programmers to work on a Firewatch inspired project.

Currently, we’re a team of 18, consisting of the whole house: programmers, VAs, writers, game designers, artists etc.. However, we are only 2 programmers (including me) which is not sufficient for our scope. My role in this project is mainly as project lead but I also oversee and help with programming, you can find my portfolio here

I’ve started this project around 7 months ago and progress has been going slowly but surely; it has stalled in the past 2 months but we’re slowly getting back on track. Programming has been a limiting factor thus far that has been overlooked and I’m looking to fulfil my promise to the team and fix this.

This is a follow-up post and you can find the original here.

The Game Idea
A game inspired by Firewatch. You and a couple of friends go camping. While collecting wood for the campfire, you notice another campsite occupied by a tribe. This tribe has captured people and burned one of them in front of your eyes. You go back to camp and tell your friends about the situation, intrigued they follow you to the other camp but there’s nothing there anymore. At night you are awoken by nightmares of the previous night. Going out of your tent, you are captured by the very tribal members you saw. You and your friends are bound by a cliff where a tribal member pushes you off. Miraculously, you end up surviving. Your objective is to find the perpetrators, free the people they’ve captured, free your friends and get out of that forest. In this game, you will have to make multiple choices which will heavily impact your gameplay and the ending you will get; making it truly unique for each player

If you’ve been in the game development industry long enough, you’ll know that most projects never see the light of day no matter how dedicated the team is or how great the idea is. We’re looking to change that and actually finish something to we can all be proud of and add to our portfolio.

Whether you’re just dipping your toes into the programming side of game development or are an experienced programmer, as long as you are ambitious and motivated, you’re more than welcome on our team. As requirements you’d need to:

  • be familiar with the 3D aspect of Unity
  • be willing to use provided libraries
  • adapt and follow our coding conventions
  • most importantly, be willing to be part of a team; contribute to it and learn

We’re not only looking to make a game but to build up a team of people to help each other in future projects and make new connections.

With that said, if this project sounds interesting to you, you can directly reply under this post or contact me via my discord handle @ rc137

Contacting me doesn’t necessitate any commitment so even if you just have a question do not hesitate to reach out. Looking forward to hearing from you !

Thanks for reading,

Cheers, C137

Bump, still searching

Hey, had a look at your work; it looks great. It’d be a pleasure to have you on our team. If you’re interested, you can have a look at my post here

Hello fellow game devs, I’m looking for artists of any kind, whether you dabble in 3D, 2D or UI, to work on a Firewatch inspired project.

Currently, we’re a team of 14, consisting of the whole house: programmers, VAs, writers, game designers, artists etc.. However, we are only 4 artists with no UI designer. My role in this project is as programming & project lead, you can find my portfolio here

I’ve started this project around 2 month ago and progress has been going slowly but surely. On the artistic side, we’re bottlenecking a bit which is why I’m seeking new members to speed up development

Hello fellow game devs, I’m looking for a game designers to work on a Firewatch inspired project.

Currently, we’re a team of 15, consisting of the whole house: programmers, VAs, writers, artists etc. Except game designers.

I’ve started this project around a month ago and progress has been throttled due to the lack of a proper GDD, currently we possess only an early Game Concept Document which is not optimal for proper progress. We’re looking for one or multiple game designers that are/is motivated to work on this project and help to speed up our efforts.

She will explain that she’s been investigating the tribe but cannot meetup with you for Z reason however she will help you by giving valuable intel on the tribe. Various choices will be given to you which will affect the world, your relationship with Y and the ending. It is now up to you find out what is happening in this seemingly normal forest.

Hey, I’m looking for a voice-actor for a voice actor for one of my projects. Unfortunately, this isn’t a paid offer merely rev-share. If the project is something that interests you and can waive payment feel free to reach out. With that said here’s the project

Hello fellow game devs, I’m looking for a team to help on a project. Currently, we’re a team of 3 comprising of 2 programmers (including me, you can find my work here) and a writer. We’re looking for people such as, programmers, writers, SFX artist, sound design, 3D/2D Artist; practically the whole spectrum haha

The project is still in its very early stages, we’ve currently got a small GDC until we brainstorm all the ideas and can move on to a proper GDD. A big inspiration for this project is Firewatch for its incredible narrative and visuals and The Forest for its eerie gameplay

You and a couple of friends go camping. While collecting wood for the campfire, you notice another campsite occupied by a tribe. Whether you are a beginner or experienced in your field, as long as you have a good team spirit and are eager to make a game you are more than welcome on our team.

IMPORTANT: The WebGL build doesn’t show the cutscene for some reason. To fix this simply download the game for your platform of choice.

The main gameplay loop of the WebGL build still works fine but its stability cannot be guaranteed

web browser, but don’t sweat it too much. If you’re using Unity web debugging is very hard

Very goofy gameplay, a change for once. Pretty interesting storyline, choices really have an effect on the gameplay. Nice job overall

Not bad, music and SFX are a bit repetitive but overall pretty good

Couldn’t get past the main menu

UI makes it quite hard to get a grasp on, story is a bit hard to understand but overall a pretty nice job for a small team

Hi, I’m an experienced Unity programmer of 5 years, I have experience with DOTS, although I never touched Unity netcode, I have made my own networking solutions in the past.

I am interested in small-medium sized projects still I’m open to participating in a big project idea.

I work mostly on 3d games, fiddled a bit with 2d in the past.

If you’re interesting in working with me, you can either reply here or contact me directly via my discord handle @ rc137

We’re looking for someone who specializes in art, whether 3d or 2d and a game designer to give a hand in the Summer Slow Jams 2023 which is starting soon.

We already have people for roles such as programmer, story writing, music and SFX. Even if you specialize in these fields, feel free to also contact me. The more the merrier 😉

If you’ve been in the game development industry long enough, you’ll know that most projects never see the light of day no matter how dedicated the team is or how great the idea is. We’re looking to change that and actually finish something to we can all be proud of and add to our portfolio.

Whether you are a beginner or experienced in your field, as long as you have a good team spirit and are eager to make a game you are more than welcome on our team.

Our goal with this game jam is to build up a team of people so that we can help each other and in the future participate in other jams or even make a game project from scratch.

With that said, if you want to have fun, get to know people and finally finish a game project, you can reply under this post or contact me via my discord handle @ rc137

A bit too hard, could use some more polish other than that pretty good like, I especially like the implementation of the grinch as an enemy.

Like many have already done before, rate my game and I'll rate your's.  Don't forget to like a comment on either my game or this comment section so that I can rate your game :)
